Hot take: mechanical keyboards sounds like shit, i hate every kind of mechanical keyboards, main purpose of a keyboard is to be quite and perform it's function quietly, rather they make a bunch of noise which distract the person using it from the actual job he wants to do, every keyboards should be quite and these noisy one's should be really cheap
RU-vidrs you shouldn't follow: Ones that use "sponsor" when they are getting an "endorser". A sponsor picks someone because they want the youtubers reach. When they say "here's some money and my product talk good about it" thats not a sponsor
If 89$ is cheap then I am extra broke 💀 Edit: my notifications are flooded with replies Edit (again): chill out bruh, some people really be takin a joke seriously
@@Angelo._.1Tell me you live in a bubble without telling me you live in a bubble 😂 Its a week’s worth of work for a lot Europeans not to mention thirld world.
As a non-keyboard guy $89 seems like a fortune for a keyboard 😂 Edit: Can you please stop replying I’ve gotten so many notifications. 😂I get that $89 is entry level for a mechanical keyboard but I can get a completely functional one from Best Buy for like 10 Edit 2: and I’m not attacking anyone for buying an $89+ keyboard. That isn’t my thing, but it is completely rational to do so.
My most expensive keyboard was $230 for everything. Once you're in the rabbit hole, you fall deep. 90 bucks for that sounds so good I might actually buy it lmao.
@@Elon-chan it is tho, depends on countries, every country has their own economy and salary, As a professor i get max 700$ in my country, if i spend almost 100$ on a keyboard, goddamn that's like 14% of my salary, not even count you have to pay rent, buy food, taxes, gas , electicity, internet, water etc
@@Lissandru369 Damn that's really bad, sad to hear that. I earn $1650 per month for doing basically nothing other than blocking a private road access and giving infos to tourists for like 7 hours a day during summer/winter and $1000 dollars for doing absolutely nothing during spring/autumn thanks to an unemployment bonus, so buying one of these isn't a big deal
exactly, but compared to other keyboards that costs more than $300 this is cheap in comparison 💀. Don't really see any reason to buy something that expensive but hey, it's their money
If you can't afford an 89$ mechanical keyboard you probably don't need to be buying mechanical keyboards. Save your money for gas and groceries and important life things. You will get by with a basic keyboard just fine.
@@kareemfifaa Ive been using a 60% for years now and just got this keyboard and I can honestly say that I much prefer this layout. It was so tedious have to use the function layer for every little thing that wasn't just typing. I was forced to use the caps it came with because changing them would mean that I would have to memorize the function layer layout for basically all 60 keys. At least with this 75% I could change the caps to anything i would want. It's also hotswap and south facing when my 60% wasnt even though it was $50 more. My 60% was also cramped making typing harder than it needed to be. I have large hands. I will still keep and have fond memories of my Ducky Mecha Mini though. It was my first mechanical keyboard.
i have 150 dollar mechanical keyboards, and except for the logitechs new "tactile" keys. Membrane keyboards are still more satisfying to press since they "break" just before actuation.
@@mandela7147tactile switches has been around since new era of mech kb started lol. Also satisfaction is subjective, id say most people prefer typing on mech instead of membrane
It's always funny to me that these shorts that is meant for custom keyboard community being recommended to random people and they be like "how is 89 bucks budget?!"
Mhm, I have a hot swappable full rgb mechanical keyboard with brown switches and it was 40 bucks..... There are significantly better deals out there than this keyboard
@@GhostKing6790thats not a good custom keyboard probably u know that those are pretty bad switches and not that special of features. From a custom keyboard standard.
@@leopard2a786 mine doesnt really sound like anything its really quiet and besides what you want your keyboard to sound like is subjective. personally i hate that keyboard not even mentioning how ridiculously expensive "nice" sounding keyboards get idk its not for me
For me a perfect keyboard is full size and has the buttons in a consistent place compared to the other keyboards I use daily. As a person in IT I regularly use 10+ different machines and my biggest frustration is the keys being in an unexpected place on different keyboards.
I am sorry to do this to you, but I'm afraid I must inform you... my keyboard is an entirely different language, and thus keys may be considered to be in "unexpected places" a few times 草
Many hot-swappable keyboards offer ways to remap keys (due to on-board EEPROMs), whereby the mapping "sticks" even if you bring the keyboard to a different machine. VIA is one common firmware option that many support, but others, such as Skyloong, have proprietary software for this.
I had one like that I got at best buy. Was solid metal and the buttons popped off with the clip pin thing. It was about 80 bucks. Best keyboard I've ever had. Great for gaming too. I have big hands and it felt smooth typing.
Did you just pretend to be smart by pointing out that a sponsored video may be sponsored? Indeed, I too can read the "Includes paid promotion" lable on the video
Its Better than other people who don't disclose their sponsors as clearly. There are probably some keyboard review channels that don't take sponsors but they're much less common
Honestly even though this keyboard might be a little pricey, its totally worth it. I bought it recently and it has so many functions, 17 RGB variations and is very nice to type at
the fact that i've spent around 100 canadian dollars on a super flashy keyboard and the super cheap one that came with my pc is still SO much better, LMAO.
That's because you bought a "gaming" keyboard. "Gaming" keyboards always cost 1.5x-2x more than they should. A while back I bought the meme keyboard of the month (GK61) for like $80 cad, lubed switches and stabs, and got a different keycap set and it's my favourite keyboard still.
I've been thinking about replacing my current keyboard with this, Would you recommend their products? (I currently run a Pulsar Lunar Alloy RGB in case you were wondering)
@@strawberrymilk9767 i don't own an Mkey, but from what i've heard they're really nice and have really nice build quality as well. their support is super helpful so if there's anything wrong you can probably get it replaced easily.
To each their own. I prefer the feel of mechanic switches to cheap keyboards. When you type all day it matters. Like if you walked all day for work, a quality pair of shoes is important. The same goes for office workers and people that type for a living.
@@Serengrenade true, but seriously its like theres a trend of people getting loud annoying sounding keyboards and they cost more to sound like that, whats up with that?
@@dr.dalewad If you know you know, if you don't, well, it's not for you. I absolutely love clicky loud keyboards, they feel so tactile and are so satisfying to type on
Eh no. You are obviously looking only at that OLED screen per key monstrosity that I forget the name of now, maximus something. Most better keyboards are $100 ish if you don't go nuts. Mine is like $200 maybe as it is now, wired&wireless, whale and mx browns mixed and full custom keycaps, with an LCD to select mode, wired, wireless or BT. Model is 'attack shark' so chinesium but it's not bad at all.
Trust me, that's a legit reaction anyone familiar with mechanical keyboards would have for how good it sounds for that price. You don't get lubricated keyboards with nice keycaps, non rattly stabilizers and that build quality until like $150
That's a middle ranged keyboard for prebuilts, this is budget for custom keyboards. If you think this is middle range for customs then I have some bad news
