I did get myself a golden bobblehead Funko Pop Hulk from Avengers: Age of Ultron for Christmas, and I was gifted some fruits, cash, and some candy from my family members.
Nice. I had similar luck on Christmas eve, myself. My LGS had a no-tax sale so I got 3 Modern Masters 2017 and 3 packs Iconic Masters. Pulled a Scalding Tarn and a Pact of Negation. Also had my Secret Lair Drop arrive on the 23rd. Was a good couple days...
Yea I got a couple packs of throne got a fabled passage. Plus the old rents got me two kaleidoscope killas. Unfortunately didnt get a teferi or a bolas but all good. Merry xmas
Lol. We hold the record for worst box of all time! Glad we were able to get it as far away as possible from us. Thanks for the shout out and congrats on over 100k. Sorry for the poop box ninjas!
We got the best gift we could get this year:in the spring someone dumped off a young male Great Dane on our dirt road(we live quite a ways out.) He was skinny and starved and wouldn't let any of us near him. Over the next few months we worked our butts off to gain his trust, but finally he decided to accept us as his caretakers. He's the newest member of our family, and such a smart, sweet and lovable dog;we are truly blessed.
@@JoeyMossBBG We named him Biggie Ray Valentine,b/c the first time my sister saw him she said,"oh Lord he's a biggie." Well that and from Eddie Murphy's character in Trading Places;one of our favorite Christmas movies btw.😆 Big Skadooshes for you and the fam this holiday season;man, may all your basic lands be shiny foils(preferably full art too!😂👍)
Joey you won't believe my Christmas pulls! Oko fullart foil, brazen borrower showcase foil, oko (nonfoil, normal art), garruk, the royal scions fullart, the great henge extended art and questing beast in 2 gift bundles. It was a Christmas miracle, I literally cried 😂 keep making these great videos, you're the best
I did start with a Mono Red starter deck, which I modified to include red mana dragons in addition of a Sarkhan Planeswalker, all done on MTG Arena when Ravnica was around the corner, since I had no idea about the mechanics until now. Today, I'm currently playing Boros cards on the exact game, while writing down deck lists in paper to help guide me towards a brighter future, since I cannot make a good deck. This includes the official MTG website and even Joey Moss.
SKADOOSH! Merry Christmas Moss Boss, so glad to hear your voice to wrap up the best Christmas I've had in years! I got a bottle of Jameson, a holster for my Glock, and some Raycon earbuds. I hope everyone else had an amazing holiday, and got everything they asked for. Merry Christmas Ninjas!
My magic group did a white elephant. I ended up with a Summoner’s Pact and Vigor. Was pretty fun. Elesh Norn, Necropotence, Cyclonic Rift, Concordant Crossroads and more were prizes brought by the group.
Love your show. Just started playing this year with a lot of coaxing from my brother. Unbelievable game, what an addiction. Preordered Theros beyond death booster box, hope it's better than that! Wish me luck.
Box openings like this feel so bad man. I just opened up a box of Khans and got 0 fetches... nonetheless I loved the edits of seeing you commenting lol. Merry Christmas!
I got a Amonkhet ultra pro binder to add to my collection. A Amazon Fire, and $300 cash so far. So I ordered Guilds of Ravnica binder and looking for a booster box and some more Magic set binders. Haha Merry Christmas everyone
I got like 6 throne bundles. Asked for just 2 core 2020 boxes, but pulled some good stuff. At least 2 fabled passage and a playset of fires of invention, so that's nice
One of my really close friends gifted me a Battle for Zendikar fat pack, Oath of Gatewatch fatpack, and a Zendikar vs Eldrazi duel deck, waiting to open them with her
You made my night skadoosh absolutely freaking hilarious when you cut the video and Grant trial of s*** hahahahahahah have to say man you are my favorite out off all the RU-vidrs Merry Christmas to you and your family
First, my friend, as usual awesome content-my wife and kid have started to enjoy and are subscribing, and adding the army of ninjas at your beck and call! So thanks for being awesome! Second-Amonkhet is totally my least favorite set in recent years, While it had a few fun cards an functions I just felt it was trying to do much, to poorly planned and organized and for my personal displeasure it was aesthetically displeasing, just ugly. Some functioned well, but woof. Least favorite set in the last Decade, And finally very cool for the to hook the channel up!
I got the last two brawl decks I was missing (alela and chulane) and the last two commander 2019 I was missing (populate and flashback) plus a new trade binder and some clothes. Pretty good if I say so
I opened almost 2 cases on launch and hit 1 masterpiece, bought random packs from Walmart hit counterspell, scarab god and scorpion God masterpieces from random blisters
7:08 spoiler alert!! Draft Booster boxes were meant to.......wait for it.....Draft! They weren’t meant to pay for itself or hold value or act as an investment. Carry on.
The reason why Reserved list are going down in price lately, is that no one has really bought almost anything in the past year. I noticed this last year around this time when the OG dual lands came down in price quite a bit and then plateaued out pretty hard. No one has been buying hardly ANYTHING off the reserved list. If people aren't buying, then people are scared and start selling them for less and people see that and then get scared and don't want to buy them at all. It's getting worse, but hopefully, we see some headway soon.
Irrigated Farmland at $0.11? That’s not right. Also been wondering about the live stream. Didn’t want to be that person and ask but man it’s a little late this month 😂
I always have mixed feelings about this kind of content. On one hand the buzz of sitting with a pile of boosters and seeing what you got will never get old! That said, it also brings out the, imo, darkside of M:TG. The darkside that drove me from the game ultimately. I've been playing since...roughly Legends? I certainly own Legends cards. More fully from Ice Age onwards. Friendly stuff exclusively including some epic and memorable "Iron Man" games! (If you don't know what "Iron Man" is you've defo not played M:TG at its most visceral! To the point...... I played my first Mana sanctioned tournament around the Tempest expansion. It was a very piecemeal Sliver deck without notable Sliver cards like Sliver Queen. Anyway, my first match I got absolutely annihilated by what was admittedly a tight, well constructed deck. Overall the tournament was a bit of a mixed bag for me, mainly 1 - 2 losses with a smattering of 2-1 victories. My love for MTG was dealt a body blow; not by the losses but by the first match. When some of my opponents asked me who i'd played up to now and I described my first opponent. The responses ranged from knowing smiles to outright scowls. I eventually asked one of my opponents what the deal with this fella was. He replied, "He throws his wallet at the game." When pressed further he asked me if I remembered any key cards from the encounter and when I mentioned them, (I think it was Cursed Scroll & Ensnaring Bridge) he nodded and told me to do a search on the internet when I got home and to check out decks with cards like that in it. Turns out the guy I played basically checked out what was doing the rounds in the tournament scene and essentially bought a deck. Incidentally the guy in question got to the final where he ultimately lost 2-1. I get it that M:TG is a CCG. Emphasis on the collectable; so cards will naturally end up with a monetary value attached. In my opinion though I feel the game is somehow diminished when a fat wallet can circumvent a level playing field. Which is a fundamental premise for a "game" imo. If 2 people sit down, in the spirit of friendly competition, to play a game yet the person with the fatest wallet can buy an advantage, it struggles to be called a game anymore. A game, in my mind, is something where the skill of the opponents is the determining factor rather than the meta ability to marshall the most effective cards. Note; this isn't a criticism of your content as I have rather enjoyed it. However your content does appear to have triggered a rant which has probably been a long time coming! Despite that, it is gratifying to see a new generation of player getting enthusiastic over a game which, all considered, has provided me with far more happy memories than bad ones. As a parting side note; I did actually manage to achieve a small, impactful measure of notoriety as my deck included 2 X Primal Order. So much so i'd sit down in front of most of my opponents and they would enquire, "You're the guy who plays Primal Order. Aren't you?" It still makes me warm and fuzzy thinking about it. For the uninitiated, Primal Order is a permanent that does damage to each player in their upkeep equal to the number of non basic lands that player controls. Suffice to say there was much sideboarding of enchantment killers from my opponents. 😉 scryfall.com/card/me1/125/primal-order?MTGWiki It holds pride of place in my collection to this day!
