It helps us stay a free country by not letting Putin achieve another foot hold in eastern Europe which I believe can eventually harm the United States. Our support for Ukraine has brought to light the weaknesses of the Russian military and tells the rest of the world that we will not tolerate another dictator becoming too powerful.
