The lion, a symbol of power, wisdom, and good fortune, chases away evil spirits and brings hapiness, longevity, and good luck.

文化が希薄…とたまに揶揄されるシンガポールですが、ライオンダンス（獅子舞）はこの国を代表する興味深い伝統芸能の一つ。
今回はライオンダンス団体『雷勇』に所属するドミニックさんにお誘いいただき、ライオンダンスを体験させていただきました！
「邪気を払い、福を呼び寄せる」といった目的で行われるライオンダンス。この動画では実際の準備からパフォーマンス終了まで密着しました。なかなか見れない裏側の部分はかなり貴重だと思います！
