If so, does that mean that those of us who remove the drinks from vending machines are rinsing machines? Does this mean I am a rinsing machine? And what if a vending machine technician gets a soda, is that person a combo filling and rinsing machine? How can that be possible?

I love the computer specs joke. You had me wondering for a solid second why any imbedded computer would have so much ram and need such a powerful processor.
Ha, there’s is still only half as good (he said duel graphics, 32 GB of RAM, 4.2 GHz water cooled etc), jokes on him because I have 64 GB of RAM, 4x GPU water cooled of course, but dang it I’m only at a tie with 4.2 GHz on 32 threads... I knew I needed to upgrade that CPU to the newest 64 core Threadripper and crank it to 5+ GHz with cascade cooling. Oh well, at least my setup has triple displays and not just one. It’s only money sucking it does is from 2x 1300w PSUs and any other coolant like dry ice I feed it when I want to have fun going even faster. Mine isn’t prebuilt though, it’s built in a handmade vampire style casket which only took 116 nails, 12 screws, and some spider infested wood from a pile in an old barn then lots of sawing. Looks way better than that vending machine!
@@txic.4818 Indeed, and its possible, smallest duel gpu build I had was on a micro ATX board (water cooled would make it even smaller, as I was using FIJI cards so the PCB is tiny but the massive triple slot air coolers really packed the board compared to when I have them water cooled). I think I even had it in a pre-built Emachine at one point (junky prebuilt case, like a thief would just pass by that junk and not give it a second look). I know I have a video of the same motherboard and CPU in that case making fun of Intel's Computex where they "forgot to mention" they used a chiller on the Xeon's overclock, so I had my phase cooler bolted to the bottom and it was running about -35c loaded and -60c idle with my "OEM cooler", lol! I can link that video if you want, its not great but its short and a good laugh if you want to also see the worst cable management too because I didn't bother cleaning it up and had wires from the extra heaters just dangling around and had a separate PSU to activate the cooling system.

In reality a processor running 4 Mhz and having 32 kilobyte of ram would easily be able to scan a keypad, run a 2 line display with payment information and a board with relays for running the motors that dispense. Those specs are wildly exaggerated, what in gods name would a simple vending machine need 32 GIGA-BYTE of ram for.

Apparently, the first concept of a vending machine is from about 70AD, when Hero of Alexandria drew up concepts of a coin-operated wine/holy water dispenser. Man, this brought me down a rabbit hole. This dude conceptualized the first steam engine, in old egypt
