I done my surgery on 02.07.2024, and they were 19 . Biggest one 10 cm, it was not easy journey. I got married 2 years ago and I did not fall pregnant does why I decided to go to my Gynecologist. Right now by Grace of God am recovering . And I have faith that after thus I will carry my Triplet Babies.
I had my surgery Jan 9, 2024, they removed 13 from me and the biggest size of it is 18cm, am 30 years of age and it's my 3years of wedding anniversary but no kids because of Fibroid. My PCV was 38 so wasn't giving blood. I was unconscious because of of the Anastasia but was revived thereafter and was discharged 4 days later because of pain. It's my 3rd week of recovery and God has been faithful. Is good to encourage others with your experience inorder to relieve them of fear, A woman besides my Hospital bed told me she ran away for 2years when she was told she will undergo surgery to remove Fibroid, it was when its becoming bigger and her stomach keeps increasing in size that makes hee come back for the surgery and as at that time she was talking to me, she came with her Son to the Hospital for check up. To anyone reading this, let's face our fear and so that we can laugh last
Wow...thank you for this video. Had a myectomy two weeks ago. Started walking 3days later. But i still feel pain sometimes and headache. Though went for a review today and my dr told me its mormal. That the tissues are going back to their places. Thanks guys for your stories. However, can i resume taking milk during breakfast? Annie From Nigerian.
I am on my way to week 6. I had 10 fibroids removed ranging in size from 7 cm, 6 cm, 5 cm and one of them was necrotic and hemorrhagic. My ob cleared me and said only restriction is not to get pregnant for 3 months. I had a miscarriage in October and I hope 🤞 I can have a 🌈 rainbow baby soon
Wow! That’s great you don’t have to weight long at all! I’m only having 1 9cm maybe the second 4cm don’t know if they will take that but I have to wait 6months to a year possible before transfer 😢 mine aren’t even in the uterine cavity so I do have to do open surgery that could be why. Good lock to you hope your Rainbow comes soon
@@kuroe-chan5190 thank you it’s been 9 months since surgery and my high risk ob said to wait at least 9 months before getting pregnant because of all the fibroids I had removed
I had my myomectomy on Thursday. They removed over 60 fibroids, it was scary and unbelievable..My OBGYNA was shocked thatbi had so many, she said they stop counting after 60 because they were confused. I had to to see the picture for myself to come to face the reality.Anyhow, i thank God that he has helped me throughout the surgery. I am at home now recovering.
Mine was on April 5 and they removed 31 with the largest the size of a softball. I hate that this is the community we're all in but I'm glad they are gone. Fingers crossed to all of us that they don't come back
I had my miomectomy yesterday, they removed a 5 cms fibroid. The pain is minimal, I was able to walk the same day. I was able to get out of bed by pushing myself against a shelf next to my bed. My prescriptions were Gabepentin 300 mg, Oxicodone 5 mg, ibuprufen 500 mg cocusade sodium 50 mg, simethicone 250. The last two are a stool softener and gas reliever.
@@v.s.rods.2869I just got back home from mine today. My surgery was Monday. Surgery went well and no complications. I was in the same place as you were. Just be sure to eat healthy leading up to surgery, and do a lot of walking prior so you don’t get blood clot in your legs. You will be fine, and stay off the internet when doing research. Things and information aren’t as true. I am in pain, but I am walking around as they suggest it so that you strengthen your lungs, and not get pneumonia.
I had an open myomectomy 27th of Dec 2023. Had 14 Fibroids removed. Its been a roller coster since then. I lost a lot of blood, about 1.5 litres during the surgery, and i had to have two pints of blood tranfused a day post op. I also developed post operative Ileus after the surgery and had to have an NG tube placed to drain my tummy. Was discharged on the 31st of Dec but got readmitted Jan 2nd for severe chest infection. Wheeww! Home now and today is the first day of the third week of recovery. I can finally say im beggining to feel a little bit like my old self. Everything you said in your video are so true though. Im just glad that my op site isnt that bad and is quite manageable. Do I regret having the myomectomy? No! Never. As my body feels better. Its unfortunate i had those complications but I wish anyone who has a myomectomy planned the very best of luck in their procedure.
What to do with gas in my abdomen? I still feel like bloated. I stop taking my pain reliever oxycodone after 4 days because they made me so drowsy and i got some hives and today is my 9 days after a laparascopic myoctomy.
Had surgery Nov 1,2023 remove 12 fibroid, am heading in my 2nd week am walking around not much pain, no bowl movement issues because my diet is strictly vegetarian, however the gas pain is very painful I must say.
Thank you for sharing. My open abdominal approach was 12 days ago. I’ve had a different experience from yours and was in the ER 2 days after coming home because the pain medicine made me so sick. Thankfully I have been able to stop them and my appetite is there. I feel you on the food aversion. Hope you’re doing well and wishing all who have this a speedy and healthy recovery.
Hi, Can anyone help me by answering my questions please? I'll have my myosure procedure (Hysteroscopy) on 16th of Sep 2024 in NHS UK. Is it performs under anaesthesia or without anesthesia? Iam worrying a lot about this. And does they charge any amount for this or it covers under health insurance. Thanks in advance!!
Its been 2.5 weeks since my surgery and i dont feel my lower belly it feels numb. Also i feel weird tingling going around in my abdomen. I had 7 fibroids ranging from 1cm to 37cm . thank God i got rid of the huge fibroids. I also have become diabetic 😔
The gas pains hurt for sure but I didn’t have any issues with bowel movements thank god. I did eat alot of healthy soups with veggies and fresh fish and fruits tea and water no stool softeners so hopefully that helps someone. I also never had issues with BM before surgery so maybe that’s why.
Thank you for doing this very informative video. I just had a 3rd myomectomy surgery. You just learn new things everytime. Taking ALL the new tips that can be helpful. Thank you 🎉🎉
Please someone should help me. Today mark me 3 weeks of surgery and my lower abdomen it's not soft am still feeling is hard. Is it your experience? Is it normal?
My myomectomy robotic surgery has been rescheduled Oct 7 due to issues with a patient who was in surgery before me was causing delays. My date was originally Sept 16
I had my surgery (very first ever) Dec 21, 2023. It was a robotic myomectomy. It went great. I was walking around the 2nd day. I stayed over night the day of the surgery. My appetite has been the same. I was using the bathroom on my own the second day. My pain tolerance is also very high. But that don't mean it's been easy. It hurt like crazy to get up out of the bed the first 4 days after. The gas pain is definitely painful and I even feel as if I had more gas since the surgery. When my bladder fills up it hurts as well (highly recommend going to pee before it fills all the way up). I have also found it more helpful to sleep on my couch instead of the bed. Please rest, rest, rest and don't push too hard to get back to your routine lifestyle. This concept is the hardest for me cause I'm a loving teacher and intense power lifter. I trust the process though. Thank you so much for this video. The comments along with your post helps me to see I'm on the right path of healing.❤

Had mine last month ; my immune system was too low and it actually triggered Herpez. This is my fifth weeks now, still feeling a lilttle bit of pain whenever I sneeze or cough.
I'm awaiting my myectomy for a 15cm fibroid. They think it will be in September, so next month. I've been taking the medicine Ryeqo for a bit more than a month because it's supposed to shrink the fibroid or at least keep it from growing more. It also pauses or reduces periods. It has the same menopausal effect that I feel hotter than usual and am more likely to feel depressed or anxious. But the symptoms did stabilize after some days. And indeed I no longer have heavy periods with blood clots. The thing that stands out for me in my fibroid experience is that the doctors are very worried and told me many times that there's a big risk that I will lose my uterus. I actually am quite calm about the surgery in general, but them constantly repeating that I might lose my uterus is not helping me enter the surgery with a peaceful mind and heart. I'm also struggling to understand why they keep telling me the risk is so high because I've watched so many myectomy videos with positive outcomes by now that I'm wondering if the risk is really as high as they're saying. Anyway, I'm leaving it in the hands of God and know that I will keep my uterus if it's His will, no matter what the doctors are saying. Thanks for sharing your experience! God bless :)
Hi! Thanks so much for sharing! ❤️ Ryeqo sounds similar to Lupron. I was given Lupron after my surgery and a few weeks later I experienced menopausal symptoms and severe hot flashes. My cycles stopped. I was told it will help reduce any new fibroids too. I have a recent video about my experience with Lupron (the link is below if you're interested!) It wore off 6 months later then my cycles returned. The doctors may just be warning you of the risk! I was extremely nervous about the risk and everything turned out fine. I fell pregnant 9 months after surgery! Everyone's body is different though. Your fibroid sounds much bigger, you may need more time to heal (if you are planning to become pregnant in the future). 👍 The medical field can be like that! In my situation the surgery was worth it! 👍 May God bless you on your journey and that everything turns out well! 🙏 let me know if you have any other questions. Bestwishes! 😊 ➡️ Link for video about Lupron - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dGKx4Z80HIg.htmlsi=7f8IGR82a4SOmH-n
Thanks so much for your reply! I'll check out the video on Lupron. I was quite skeptical about Ryeqo at first, but it's actually been a blessing to not be having my heavy periods. I had severe anemia and the periods were also keeping me from sleeping and, generally, living. It's amazing to see your story and that you were able to get pregnant. God is good! :) I trust He also has great things in store for us and I know we don't need to be afraid about the surgery. Right, I realized I wrote the size of the fibroid in centimeters. It's comparable to being 18 weeks pregnant. At the moment my uterus reaches to about my belly button, a bit lower. It's big, though I've definitely seen bigger. Anyway, thanks for your encouragement! :)@@LifeWithBerylanne
Oh my! I hope everything goes well with you! God's timing is perfect. 😊 Maybe send me an update if you decide to go through with the surgery. Take care! ❤️
Amen! Keep the faith. I’m also in the same situation getting the surgery. I just have to schedule a date. My prayers go out to you in this time. God is in control. You are going to be fine. You have the right mindset. God bless you hun.🙏🏾❤️🩹💗
I had my surgery 3 weeks ago but mines quite different though cause I had myomectomy, cystectomy and appendicitis removal done at the same time... it hasn't been easy but I can move around now and my appetite is back. Passing out gas and peeing was a struggle. I still feel pains here and there but its bearable But I don't know if its normal for my stomach area to be hard instead of soft
I am experiencing urine urgency and if I am not fast to get to the toilet it comes out. I had a myomectomy and a hysteroscopy for fibroids. Does anyone else experienced this?
Thank you for the prayers! I had my surgery 3 days ago and I got everything you suggested! I included a electric heating pad which was wonderful! Like you said the gas was no joke 😖 I would say it was the worst pain of all. My doctor gave me a prescription version of miralax and that helped really well for passing stool. In the hospital they gave me Dilaudid for painwhich had me out of it, my family apparently had funny videos of me 😅Again, I really appreciate this video because it helped me be very well prepared. One thing I may add for advice to anyone having this procedure is if you have love ones that can help let them! The more the merry. I had wonderful team of family and friends that have been so supportive. It makes the transition to healing so much better. Thank you so much!
I had mine 11 days ago. Im 31, two days after surgery started pooping every morning buh for the past 4 days av not pooop. Pls can someone talk on this.
I had surgery 1/31/22 they didn’t give me lupron and I’m glad once they give you a shot of anything it’s not like a pill where you can just stop it you have to wait until it’s over …. Tbh recovery was easy/ good but very rough at the same time it’s a true mental battle the gas is terrible I’m at the 6 wk mark and still have very bad gas only ginger ale and charcoal pills helped ,the 1st 2wks you’re gonna need help with everything …. I also had a walker and thought I was the only person who needed one lol
It feels like I been waiting FOREVER for this Lupron depot to leave my system! 😅 Worst shot/medicine I've ever taken. I'm glad your recovery went well! 🙏 Good to hear! I kept my walker for future usage like if I become pregnant haha. Thanks for watching! ❤
I just had mine on Monday. Plain yogurt granola blueberries and honey, saltine crackers, water, pedialyte, chicken broth, and frozen fruit to make smoothies for breakfast. This is all I have been eating and is helpful.
I've been on the Lupron shot since the surgery day in October. I got the 3 month dosage shot. It's been almost 5 months, it hasn't left my system yet. 😱 It's awful! It puts you into menopausal symptoms like really bad hot flashes and fatigue. 🥵 As for trying TTC, yes we were told to wait 6 months for safety by my doctor. We plan on TTC again after the Lupron wears off and my system is back in order. I plan on making a 6 months update video around in May.... feel free to check it out at that time! Hope this helps! 🙏❤
My open myomectomy /exploratory/polyp removal coming up in one month. Removing a 9cm on top of uterus. I also have a 4cm near cervix neither I. Cavity but causing pain and other issues with tubes we are also preparing for IVF journey and need clear start. Thank you for sharing!
Great video, thank for tips, I'm on day 10 post op, myomectomy. I'm a little sore, but not in pain. I think the surgery wasn't as painful for me because my cycles were very painful with fibriods, I guess I became numb to intense pain,😢but I am glad you have recovered and wish you and your Hubby well❤
I had my surgery monday 22nd July. It was a laparoscopic myomectomy. I had 4 remived, largest 6cm, smallest 2cm. I was really bad coming out of recovery and couldnt stand or do anything. I kept drifting in and out if sleep. They told me to drink a cup of water every half an hour but I felt so ill. I eventually threw up. Once I threw up i basically went from strength to strength, up through the night using the toilet. My bladder filling hurts. By the next day i was up and about, showering myself, walking around the hospital grounds. I was discharged on the 24th. Pain medication was originally paracetamol, codeine and ibuprofen. By the 24th i was just on paracetamol and codeine. 25th just paracetamol and by the 28th no painkillers at all. I only feel mild discomfort. I've been walking a lot, from the 24th when i was discharged to the 27th i have been steadily increasing my step count. 5k on the 24th, 6k on the 25th, 7k on the 26th and 8k on the 27th. I spot intermittently and pain is completely minimal. I do wonder if I'm doing too much.
I on my 4th week post surgery. I am just wandering why my OB did not prescribe neither contraceptive pills nor lupron to me. I am still feeling the heaviness on my lower abdomen. I hope I will be completely back to normal. Also my Doctor advised me to not get pregnant in 2 to 3 years. She said because my uterus was a bit damaged becaus of the 10cm fibroid.
Hopefully you will heal soon! 🙏 It took about 2-3 weeks for the soreness to stop for me. Then after 6 weeks I was completely pain free. You may not had need Lupron...? Lupron has very harsh side effects! It takes a long time to wear off. 😱 I have a newer video about experiencing Lupron... if you'd like to see it I can send the link in the next comment. 😊 I hope you feel better soon! God bless! 😘
I did my surgery 4years ago and the fibroids came back. then I tried the natural way to shrunk them through Dr Aluda remedies on RU-vid, and to my greatest surprise, I'm fibroids free now.I highly recommend him and a trial will convince you.**
I having an operation also in fibroids and i really want to know what pain are u going to feel after the surgery and is the pain really hurts that you cant move or stand or walk a little steps..? Is it advisable to use adult diaper and why?
@@Yas-ir9qn i had the surgery recently , my pain wasn't that bad. The only pain I felt was the stitches. You can walk but everyone have different pain tolerance.
@@Yas-ir9qn #2 yes, its best to buy something to prevent constipation. Forcing yourself to go can cause ur stitches to come apart. (I'm being dramatic) but do ur best to have a easy go
There's sore throbbing pain afterwards when the anesthesia wears off, usually about a day later. It also depends on your pain tolerance. Hope this helps! 😊
Yes, there will be sore pain and discomfort in the beginning, regardless of which sleep position. If possible, try a position first that doesn't cause any more pain. Be sure to keep up with pain medication too! Hope this helps! 😊
@@LifeWithBerylanne hello thank you for the video i had surgery 2 weeks ago and now im taking antibiotics bc of an infection in my belly button😢 Do you think I should take the 3 months of medical leave that my job is suggesting? bc i work in a grocery store lifting heavy boxes and pushing and pulling pallets

I'm one week post-surgery and am still dealing with extreme pain. I also have not managed to have a bowel movement, just plenty of gas. I'm starting to worry.
Have you spoke with your doctor? I had sore pain for about 2 weeks. It starting dying down afterwards. It was hard to bend over, use stairs and drive. The missing bowel movement sounds a bit familiar, it can happen right after surgery. The surgical process interferes with movement. 😱 I highly recommend talking with your doctor and updating him/her about your current situation! 👍 I hope you feel well soon! 🙏
