How It Works 

During heavy rain, the 450-gallon tank can fill up. Water drains through the 3'' overflow pipe on top and the smaller pipe below the high point, which connects to the side sewer via a 1/4'' reducer. The manifold fitting on the bottom allows water to flow in two directions: to the side sewer in winter and to a garden hose for outdoor use in spring, summer, and fall.
