I live in South Africa and I'm pretty sure we get the undersized and damaged avos on our shelves as well as them being pulped and used as nutrients to further the plantation's growth.
I live in South Africa and avocado is damn expensive it can cost as much as R20 for 1 avocado (about $1.20) At home I have an avocado tree and when its ripe it can produce about 90 avocados which I mostly give away
LOL! Those locks are worthless with the right crook. 30 years ago I had a high dollar bike I was particularly proud of. I bought a high dollar Kryptonite lock. One morning I went out to ride my Fuji to class... and it was gone. All that was left were some shards of the lock. It would appear the thieves either packed the lock in dry ice, or liquid nitrogen... and then just broke it with a hammer. I verified this with a new lock and dry ice.
“Thanks” for telling us the “truth” of your “reality” (sad as it was)! Almost everyone who is involved with bicycles has had at least some problems with theft but it is still too bad! The “Bible” teaches that we are all “sinners” and that we all have “character flaws”!
Some years ago, sitting in a bus in NY, I watched a well dressed guy holding a crow-bar, wrapped in brown paper. In about 10 seconds, he broke the lock on an expensive bike on the footpath. The bike was quicky handed off to another dude who rode off with it. Thieves had the routine down flat
@@taiwanluthiers You can get angle grinder resistant locks now, they chew up the disc so you need at least 3 of them. The kryptonite locks however can be cut in under 30 seconds with an angle grinder. I learned the hard way :(
@@manoz6194 What are they made of? I tried cutting titanium rod with an angle grinder and it's a pain to cut it. Titanium cuts much slower than steel for some reason, maybe because the metal is a bit gummy? I guess next time I'll try it with a plasma cutter. That will cut anything.
and that there is in such a huge company not an smoke desuckening machine.. thats really poor for the early 2000ends...but it shows, that many people do absoletely not care for their health, there in the shop and on the construction sites and road , too..

Are you a fan of the "Insane Engineering" series? Well we just launched our new "Insane Biology" series over on Real Science. Learn how an octopus can change it's colour in the blink of an eye, even though they are colour blind. Link in the comments!
SysGhost we don't wrap since many years. we buy these nice bags, put the presents in there unwrapped. and even the bags we can use 4 or 5 times. we buy the bags fairly -unisex- so we can use them for everyone and also regardless of the season or occasion.
SysGhost eh it's the problem poeple that makes all those advertisements that brainwashed the poeple to what's on the advertising and marketing strategy to get the poeple in baddies habbits and believe me I see they can't even see it
It seems if you make it they'll buy it. Wrappers are one of the countless products which are bought by people and trashed almost immediately. Wrappers basically act like cosmetics, they dress up an item.
Exactly, it doesn't matter how strong the lock material is its main weak point is always the lock barrel. The lock making companys should devise a new barrel that is more pick proof, even if it slow the thief down or puts them off picking it.
Well said. I couldn't agree more. Sounds like someone is making these cats watch the video's... im assuming they do not understand the concept of simply watching something else! This poor poor generations of idiots we obviously need many more shows like this to help dummys learn how to switch to a different show!
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view!" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?
21:08 what kinda engineering school you gotta go to become a factory worker? Why does this show refer to everyone as engineers? As an Engineer I am offended
@@coyotesmile8972 haha. My brother is training to be a train engineer and I keep bugging him about it. Actually in my previous career i used to be "aircraft maintenance engineer" which is nothing but an aircraft technician or mechanic. I am not sure why they called us an engineer.
If you are a applying to be a janitor they don't call it that. They call it "sanitation engineer" to make you feel like you're someone respectable. In the US supermarkets call janitors "maintenance" and I actually thought it was people going around fixing the cash registers, fridge, AC unit, etc. since that's what we call people who fix broken stuff in the apartment... Dishwasher could be food hygiene specialist...
I can open a bicycle lock without using a large hammer. I just pick the lock and bypass it completely with a few shims. Faster, Easier and not so overly visual.
HAS IT EVER OCCURRED TO BICYCLE LOCK MANUFACTURERS THAT A THIEF CAN EASILY USE A "HACKSAW" TO CUT THE DAMNED LOCK. WITH A GOOD HACKSAW YOU CAN JUST ABOUT CUT ANY PIECE OF STEEL EASILY
No, you can't. The teeth of a hacksaw will just skitter over hardened steel. An angle grinder however will cut straight through any steel regardless of how well hardened it is.
Maybe if they make a bike lock encased in tungsten carbide, as angle grinder will not cut through that, but if you put a diamond saw on the angle grinder, then nothing will stop that. Maybe if you put soft compound in the tungsten carbide matrix so any attempt to cut it with abrasives would cause it to gum up making it take much longer to cut...
