Hello. Actually bought the same heater this morning at Canadian Tire. Haven't yet tried it. Waiting for temps here in Toronto to drop. Winter's coming.. will let you and others know how/ if it warms . Great review!😊

That's not how a thermostat works. The thermostat has 0 effect on actual heat output, the heater does not get cooler simply because you turn it down or get hotter because you turn it up. Heat output is determined by the numerical settings, 1, 2 and 3. All the thermostat does is regulate how long the heat will be on, determined by the temperature setting. For example, if the thermostat dial is turned a quarter of the way up, the heater will warm the room for about 15 to 20 minutes depending on size and turn off. If it can't achieve the temperature it won't turn off.

Does it have auto settings? The heater turns on and off on certain temeprature?

Does the heater get hot to the touch after a while?

How to operate it and how it works are two different things. I was looking for how it works.

What is the brand name of the heater?

the front & the back protection lows 50% of the eff. remove the. & you'll get better heat.
