Spoiler alert don’t read if you don’t want to know what happens!! In my Eyes Ghost wins. When he was alive he was taking care of many things, even though people wanted him dead he already had that in mind & made a plan that would still keep him ahead and affect everybody who was trying to take him out. Tariq thought killing his dad would solve all his & Tasha’s problems about Raymon Jones murder & Lakeisha Grants murder and also thought all his dad’s income would come straight to him aswell as Tasha but no Ghost was still 5 steps ahead. First of all he never left Tasha anything, he made sure Tariq doesn’t get any money or responsibility of Truth until he passes 4 years of college , he set up Dre knowing he would die before he could escape NY or get on than Witness stand. He gave Tommy a way out & repaired his car & he left money for Kate & Paz. Ghost wins he had a plan for living and a plan for death.

Funnily, everyone got their cosmic justice: Ghost was betrayed by his corrupted son when he was finally "free". Kanan was betrayed by his "corrupted" "son" while trying to flee jailtime. Angela is killed with a tarnished career, and no Jamie. Tasha is penniless and jailed. Tommy is completely alone. Lakeisha is betrayed by her ungrateful best friend. Proctor was betrayal by his disloyal client, Tommy. And Tariq got sent to school...lol

Ghost’s death was where the television aspect of the show took over. If Power happened in real life, Ghost most likely would win and go on to a successful political career. The creators of the show couldn’t have Ghost winning cause at some point a character’s actions have to catch up with them also, they’re setting up a whole universe around this show. That’s a part of storytelling but yeah he really shouldn’t have been killed.

@@jevaharirons4505 As stated in the video, Tommy was always driven by his emotions and extremely volatile. He rarely used logic in how he moved forward and mostly depended on Ghost for major decisions. Ghost was the opposite. They behaved this way as a result at least partially because of the presence (Ghost) or lack of presence (Tommy) of a dominant father figure growing up.
