I really felt that Ayumu Hirano should have won the gold medal. His last run was truly spectacular to watch and really gave Shaun White a run for his gold medal and his name.
mish098aimer exactly. And add in the fact that Shaun white grabs his boots when he does his tricks and slightly reverts some of his landings. Boot grabs aren't a real grab in snowboarding. Ayumo was doing real grabs with way more style and landing square
Definitely not. He's good but Shaun White is still above anybody else. He's probably the only one with Ayumu who can do back to back 1440s, he's probably the only one with Podlatchikov who can do Double McTwist 1260, and he put everything he had on that run and he went massive. He deserved gold, whoever says otherwise is either a fanboy or doens't know much about snowboard.
I was talking to my favorite youtuber Ruthi san because she is living with her family there in Murakami, Nigata and told her an Olimpic medalist it's practicing snowboarding behind the playground of your son and she answer me "Yes it's Ayumu Hirano San" that was amaizing, hahaha her child use the dinosoure behind the building to play in the park. Hirano San is a hard worker, we are proud of him and we wish you achieve all your goals, I know u can do it.
Ayumu is a true legend and a true pioneer. US had long dominated halfpipe for a long time and Ayumu changed the game !!!! what an incredible athlete and a heck of a competitor!! HISTORY was made in 2022 Beijing Olympics!
wish my parents supported me like this, i talked to my mum about supporting me in wanting to become a pro snowboarder and she said she wont support me because it'll be impossible for me due to me starting at the age of 14 (still 14 atm)

Please!! Can anybody tell where and how is he now? I am not a snowboarder but I love watching it now because of Ayumu. He is not in Burton US Open 2020, and I can`t find any recent references to him
Gave up watching after 2mins because the subtitles are smack right in the middle of the video for some reason so I can’t see the video properly. Please fix it.
