Thats why the Mavs have been doubling him as soon as he gets to the paint, they don't want him getting hot with easy drives to the basket. 2 years ago he would have forced up a bad shot or caused a turnover but in these finals he has been making the right passes and getting easy buckets for his teammates. You can have a poor night shooting and still have a good game because of this He had 18 pts 9 boards and 12 ast being a playmaker in game 2. The fact that they are willing to double Tatum knowing that they are leaving 1 of 4 very capable scorers open shows you just how dangerous they think Jason can be if he gets going

Well I mean offense is not everything. Luka's triple double's are pointless and cannot even win them a game. Tatum's presence attracts a double/triple team which opens up shots from his teammates. Tatum is no Jordan, Kobe or McGrady that needs to carry their team by scoring 40+ points.
