Great advice. It's tougher for us older dad bod types, no longer have the bod to fill them out properly. I never liked the sagging look, but it has grown on me over the years, but know better than to attempt pulling that one off. I am guilty of wearing my levis a bit too long, but I dread buying them, having them shrink slightly looking like I'm walking in a flood. I agree about the tapered leg openings, and you can always cuff the jeans if they are a bit too long. You must have a good tailor. My eyes are usually drawn to the usual poor cuff tailoring job which can make even the best jeans look like crap.

I have to disagree about the rise. A high rise is very beneficial for most men. It males your legs look longer (which makes you look taller) and they are a lot more comfortable as well. Through history men's trousers always sat at the natural waist, even jeans (see vintage Levi's). Plus, after you get used to a high rise any low rise pants will just look out of proportion and aesthetically unpleasing (mid rise is ok for the most part though).

Can someone help me. I have this problem that i found jeans very uncomfortable. They are very itchy and tight to me. Now i have worn different jeans loose and tight but they are all the same. Trousers and shorts are the only things i found comfortable. So if anyone has any tips or if you have faced the same problem, please tell me what you did about it.

I normally hate these videos because I think I'm a stylish know-it-all, but this video is brilliant. I've made so many denim mistakes over the years. I do wear a watch, a bracelet and a necklace of some sort, (nothing sparkly, faceted or too colourful) be it a black simple rope necklace or a silver chain. I notice accessories on people and when you're wearing something plain, like a plain black t-shirt and black jeans, a gold watch or a pendant necklace can instantly make you look cool, but if you get it wrong, like wearing a pendant necklace over a jumper, you will look quite uncool.

I had so many issues with Rose Gold and Black tbh. We ordered a necklace and bracelet back on black Friday and it has yet to arrive... They haven't sent it and they won't give us a refund. It wasn't stolen off the porch or anything because 1 we have cameras so we could see 2 the "tracking code" says it hasn't left the warehouse yet. It has been 2+ months already.

Standard length of Jeans are 30, 32 & 34 length. At length 30 it's *already proper length for people that are 5'8"-5'10. Issue is there are still PLENTY of Men out and about that are not as tall as 5'8"-5'10". So guys that are 5'4"-5'8" will have to have some "Stack" at bottom of Jeans. [Whats a better solutions??? Companies selling 27"-28" length Jeans also.]

I find the levies 511 fits me really really well I get a 511 in a 29/30 reference im 5”10 about 165 in shape they fit great off the rack if anything u may want to make the tapper even smaller if ur weird but there’s slim down very nicely to a small cuff at the bottom

Too many edits ruining the quality of the vid

I have tried to solve the butt sagging for a long time, but it keeps sagging. Lower rises work better on me, but the jeans stretches out in a day and starts sagging, and i have to keep pulling up my pants. It feels like my muffintop pushes the jeans down aswell. I have found a pair of jeans that almost works, they fit perfect right out of the washing machine, i do not need a belt, but after half a day the jeans stretches out and starts sagging in the butt. I assume it would be better if i lost some weight, as my muffintop is pushing the jeans down aswell.

Getting a good fitting pair of jeans can be troublesome for someone, like myself, who has been stricken with a bad case of "gone-ass disease," but I find that Levi 527s will likely fit us best.

Thank you for mentioning inseam length. I feel alot of people overlook this part... especially young people. But I would also say if you are average height 5'9" or under this part can be hard especially for jeans since finding a proper inseam under 30" is very hard and rare since most clothing companies never make an inseam under 30". Finding cropped jeans for men, in USA is also quite rare.

If leg opening is too small this look bad with shoe. Like jeans fall Wright inside the shoe. I think about 2 inch material at calves region is better. Also too much tapering can make your legs tiny and destroy proportions. I think tapered is ok especially when we hemmed jeans and lego opening is bigger. But not too much

I always have a problem with pretty much every pair of pants I've ever worn where they always fall down and are too tight. Like usually I have to hold the belts loop on the back of my pants when crouching and it falls to over half of my butt, this also happens with shorts and I don't know why. My main theories are that I have giant thighs and I'm 6'2 which means my legs are really long. I've noticed that on pants they get extreamly tight on my knees when crouching down and my outer thigh is really tight too. I usually try to get relaxed and stretch fit pants because all of the others ones don't fit and even with the tapered ones I like them but they taper too early on my leg, constricting the knees. For my clothes I've been getting a size 46x30. 46 is too loose but fits my thighs much better (and I've never seen a 48 in a store before) and 44 seems to be good on my waste but almost impossible to fit on my thighs. I've noticed even with large draw string shorts I still need to hold the back from falling down sometimes even when fitting the string to my waist. If you could help me out you'd literally be saving me from something I've been struggling with for almost my whole life.
