I thought they called it Passover because the Angel of Death 'passed over' all the Hebrew doors with the blood of a sacrificial Lamb on the door posts, and only killed the firstborn of all the Egyptians?

Look behind that work Easter in the Bible. Use any Bible dictionary. The word in the Greek is “Pascha” means Passover. It is used for Passover in the New Testament 28 times and Easter once. Easter is incorrect and that is why Bibles are now correcting this. Easter was a heathen holiday still practiced today. Passover is Biblical. Hope this brought encouragement to test everything and hold fast to that which is good.

Jesus was the last Passover lamb. He died for everyone’s sin. His blood cleanses us. Easter is pagan the Christians tried to take over and stop the pagan practice instead it’s just all got mixed up.
