Joaquin Phoenix is my favourite actor along with Tom Hiddleston. He has anxiety issues and he faces those issues. It's like he challenges himself. And it's really horrible that people are calling him a druggie or a drunkard after watching the Golden Globes. Guess joker was right. The problem with mental illness is that people expect you to behave as if you don't have it.
That was such a heartbreaking way to introduce the video. River was his best friend and closest brother and it was terrible that he had to watch his brother die in his arms.

Anthony Recenello I lost my mother to cancer, when i was 20. It is and was really tragic. But there ist for me also a purpose and positive side. I know trough that, why it is necessary to follow your purpose in life. For me it is at the moment doing stand up and also track down the path to become a good host and presenter. Especially for tv and especially for a late night show. I think it tackled also my social and dating life. I dont want to be the victim anymore. I want to be on the active side. Even when it is only 1 degree celsius outside here in germany and iam on my way to be better with women. Also that is the reason, why i work with my coach right now in that. So the death of my mum is of course connected with pain. But it is also an inspiration. Thanks for the video Tony. Your are really great in light up my inner fire through your doing. I have such empathy for those who witness such tragic early endings to people they love. And to think he got harassed by the media and had such a private experience be exploited, is a sad window into our society's deranged and reckless behavior toward human hearts.

Great analysis, Joaquin seemed so sad when he won the Oscar. It's like he doesn't care to win or lose an award, I have to admire him for that but at the same time I feel bad for him because he doesn't know how good he is.
He is so authentic. I could watch him all day. For me in particular I look up to him because I've been through similar trauma and I know how dark it gets sometimes. For me art is what gets me through.

This year I was expelled from school for dealing weed. I'm 16 I was sent to a maximum-security prison for two weeks, and I've now been under house arrest for half a year and it's going to be a lot longer. at the end of the summer I'm going to go to a new school and since I'm under house arrest I won't be able to hang out with any of the new people I meet anytime soon. I don't really know how to approach this... do I tell them what happened and why I can't go out? do I make excuses? I just wanted to say that this video has helped me make a decision. I will be straight forward and own it while still regretting what I did and hopefully I'll find my group. Thank you!

For me, Joaquin is one of most greatest actors i mean perhaps are the top 5 or the top 3 or might be the number one and its for all time greatest. Ive followed his movies for long time and since watching walk the line and the master it made me think that " yeah this one surely is one of best actors". I remember watching "Her" which it was a year later after The Master and still got me to think like " how does this man manage two different roles between an ignorant cold lazy emotional Freddie Quell and a sad poor gloomy but lovely Theodore in Her. Well not just for those roles but for all of his roles are absolutely amazing. Theyre unquestionable!. And yeah i hope he wins the oscar this year though hes having a tight competition between Adam Driver who appears to be one of my favorites too. But hope nothing stops Joaquin from finally bringing home the oscar! 😄
I'd really love to be more honest, but I feel like my scars have left me so very raw it's like my feelings are sunburned and everything rubs me the wrong way. Some times I feel like loneliness and neediness just bleeds out of my pores and I hate to be seen that way. It makes me feel pathetic and ugly. Watching this vid, I just realised that there,re many famous people that has much impact on society. For example this story showed me, how can we live after losing someone too early, especially if You’re really close to that person. Before I thought it’s nothing necessary, but I can look at it from a different perspective. Joaquin showed me, that You can move forward and do many important things even in his situation. But the sad eyes are always with You. I thought it isn’t so common, but many people smile, laugh but when You look into their eyes there’s sadness. This was an insightful and interesting video. I just discovered your channel, I love your content. I wonder, can women in the media be loved because of their scars too? Are there actresses that are viewed as charming if they are like Joaquin Phoenix for instance? What would be the female equivalent? I honestly can't think of anyone. Anthony Recenello I don’t view her as charming, but I like her because I tend to like the underdog. She’s hated by many. She’s not exactly emotionally scarred like Phoenix, but I see why you might tie her in with him.
