I wasn't that surprised at the time because, even though Rogers was still elite, the Packers had done the same thing with picking Aaron when Farve was still playing great. It's a strategy that has proven to be very successful with the Packers, as well as with only a handful of other teams. The slow first half of the season was partly due to Love adjusting to his starting role and key injuries that affected the offensive. By midseason, Love found his footing and with his key players finally returned healthy, he was able to go on and tear up the league. You are wise to realize how truly great Jordan Love can become and thanks for your support of the Pack. Glad that you were able to personally see him, and yes, he is a very tall, good-natured dude with lots of confidence regarding his future with the Packers.
