Great video, I loved it. As a spaniard and a fan of both Stephen Curry and Juan Carlos Navarro (since I was a kid), I feel it really weird and exciting that Steph and JCN have this kind of connection. Just for your information, his shot is not the reason for his nickname, Navarro started to be called "la bomba" (the bomb) because of the way he would change matches, and "dynamite" them, the moment he put a step on the court, when he was a teenager and a semipro. Opportunely, the way he shots is also called a "bomba" (because, in Spanish, we call "bombear" to lobbing the ball), so it confused people and finally led everyone to believe his nickname was due to his shot. However, this is not the case.

The Legend. Check his eurobasket 2011 MVP, in a team with the Gasol brothers, José Calderón, ... and his KO game against Macedonia...

As a Spaniard, I love Navarro. I love him to the core, and us born in 95 we grew up watching him play. La bomba must have been the most earned nickname in the game. And yeah, he was freestyling before many foreign born NBA players, albeit for Ginobili, dare enough to freestyle. Kick release shooting, split second decisions, way above average three point shooting, excellent court vision, amazing floaters, "getting into the kitchen lay ups" like the Spanish commentators said, he was both brave and talented. That being said, it was disappointing for me to find out that he was back to Barcelona. I though he was way more talented than the rest of the Spanish players in the NBA, except for Pau and Marc Gasol. He was way better than Llul and Rodríguez, and waaaay better than the Hernangomez brothers are right now. He gave up that career to play for millions of people in the NBA just to come back to Spain and play for thousands of fans. Language barriers and family being far away... yeap, that doesn´t seem like a valid reason at all.

Curry is still a monster, and can jump higher, has more dunks than Navarro. Navarro had perhaps better leadership when he was playing with its own national team-mates, but that is like comparing oranges to Apples...
