As far as that tour of them together, that was just as much about Drake trying to prove he's more of a rapper than a R&B dude, because he was supposed to be touring with R&B singers for that albumn. He was using ASAP and K-Dot to boost his own image as a serious rapper.

People forget hip hop is a sport it’s always competition and always gonna b someone ready to come for the number 1 spot with that in mind u should never approach any battle or beef lightly. People have normalized callling people goats or the greatest when a lot of these rappers haven’t had real beef or real competition that has tested where they are at lyrically it’s turned into love and hip hop either more drama f’n peoples girls and mud slinging and memes more than actual rapping. They put buddy in a position that really ain’t his and his ego took the best and worse of it. Playing with somebody who ain’t playing with u is never a good look. Everybody saw control as a diss but it wasn’t the man stated I’m usually homeboys with the same nixxas I’m rhyming with but this is hip hop and u nixxas should know what time it is u don’t fill on show respect if u beefin and dissin it’s straight to the business f how u feel about it.
