I think it was a combination of Kendrick and the meek beef that made him give up on the classic. Once the ghostwriting was exposed and he was still on top, he knew then he could rally do wrong as long as he kept the hits coming. He got in his feelings over something he didn’t find time to fully grasp and taking it as a complete shot to him personally. 'Nothing Was The Same ' is one of Drake's dopest albums if not the best but it just couldn't beat the hype that 'Good Kid Maad City ' has generated over the year. 'The language ' was a good jab at Kendrick but it went over most people's heads.
