@@powpowouchy5 I mean, why wouldn't he? Best case scenario, he's wrong and nothing happens. But if he's right it's better to be aware of it. It's not unlike how Super Sayan was maybe just a legend in their eyes, but it was still something they were careful about

Him being lazy was a smart retcon. It essentially filled all the plot holes of why mortals have been doing his job for 50 years😂

There were kais in Z that were stronger than Frieza. Dabura was also way stronger, so I don't see how Beerus is some major blow to Frieza in that way. The gods and supernatural beings are in a different category. Freiza was the strongest mortal being in the universe until Ssj Goku.

@@Skitskl33 maybe more so the fact that they made it that Frieza knew who Beerus was. Pretty sure Frieza had conquered hundreds or thousands of planets, maybe even been to many Galaxies… and he never came across anyone close to his level. Which ties in to his egomania and believing that he is superior to everyone, and they are like primitive beings or ants compared to him. Knowing that he’s actually completely vulnerable to someone out there should make him have way less of an ego and confidence. His ego and confidence being shattered by Goku is a major plot point.

@lovesgibson Maybe but the fact Beerus is barely around and let's Frieza do pretty much anything he wanted would still play into his maniacal persona. That and he's incredibly egotistical so it wouldn't matter if he had heard of some deity that's barely around and doesn't interefer with his conquest is stronger than him. At that point he could have thought he was himself stronger than Beerus. It would also add an additional element of motivation to why frieza wanted immortality to begin with since he's aware of the existence of gods.

Majin buu is the oldest character in the dbz and dbs and dbh franchise (I know dbh isn't cannon in the main story line) and Majin buu is older then time and the universe itself he created it as well and toriyama said himself Majin buu is the oldest character in dbz dbs and dbh

Tristin if Vegeta cared that much he would’ve wished the saiyans back with the dragon balls. Buddy meditates he’s not fighting Beerus over some dead saiyans 30 years ago. Beerus had them killed because they were evil anyway, and why would he doubt the judgement of the god of destruction?

I wish too but I would rather have some more current movies to get the dragon ball name back up as it’s not to popular right blnbow

Not really. Knowing Beerus doesn’t fit in with Frieza’s personality or any of the things he’s doing.

@@phantom8926 I think there’s an implication that his ego is so big and he is so pompous with his superiority complex because he truly believes he is the most powerful being in the universe. Retconning it that he personally knew this god-like being the whole time and knew that Beerus was light years more powerful than him and could destroy him at any moment if he doesn’t stay in line just really makes no sense why Frieza would be the way he was originally. It’s fine in dragon ball super because they changed frieza’s character to be a joke and a coward, but his character was not like that at all in the beginning of the Namek/frieza saga. It’s just a pure, bad retcon. Frieza wanted the dragonballs simply so he could live forever and rule the universe forever. Adding Beerus in the mix is stupid. Might as well be that Frieza is just like Vegeta and only wanting immortality so Beerus can’t end him… lame.

Frieza did watch them fight from hell. Plus his father knew of buu before that. Also both king cold and frieza watched the fight from hell so he could have given even more information on buu during their time in hell
