The King Kong Workout is a series of quadrupedal movements. Find an open area that has soft ground for this workout.
This workout requires no equipment it is going to be strictly bodyweight exercises taken from our parkour training with some of the Original Yamakasi members. This drill I actually picked up from Laurent Piemontesi. He is an incredible instructor and awesome guy!
With this workout you can change the distances to fit the intensity you want. Sometimes I will QM 30-40yards and sprint further as well to up the intensity or endurance.
1. We are going to start off with 20 yards of stride QM followed directly by a 20 yard sprint.
Repeat this for a total of 10 rounds.
2. Then we are going to perform backwards QM strides for 20 yards followed by a 20 yard sprint
Repeat this for a total of 10 rounds.
3. Then perform Skii QM for 20yards followed by a 20 yard sprint.
Repeat this for a total of 10 rounds.
4. Then finish off with QM Crawl for 20 yards followed by a 20 yard sprint.
Repeat for a total of 10 rounds.
Finish.

When I first discovered parkour I wanted nothing to do with it but I couldn't help myself I just had to learn how to do it I watched your. Video and I started working on parkour insantly I am getting better at parkour and im only eleven by time I'm a teen I'll be a pro

Nice ground Kong movement. I have just started getting into mov nat and animal style movement in particular primate or monkey movement and love it! I'm am 54 years young and in pretty good shape having trained for the past 30 odd years most of which has been strength training and bodybuilding style training along with some Thai boxing and grappling training over the last 3 years. Already feeling improvement in mobility and agility and keen to take movement training further, eventually I even want to give some parkour a go. Do you do the quadrupedal gallop I find it is easier than the ground Kong and faster, when you watch someone that is good at it it is just like watching an animal like a dog or cat run! Also could the gallop be turned into a vault like when a dog or cat vaults over an object while running. Have subscribed you have a lot of interesting videos keep it up bro!

I use to do quite a bit of parkour bit not to long ago I broke my thumb, I really want to get started again but I just can't get motivated enough and I get to nervous when I try to do so. Anytime know a way I can get my confidence back bit also be motivated to start back up

Dear TappBrothers could you help me out , I've been training for the past few weeks and doing some diffrent workouts (pull-ups , planks , ...) I've mostly used this video has a guide "Get Six Pack Abs in Under 2 Minutes. It Works!!" by OfficialBarstarzz and i was wondering what do you think of it ,is it good or will it result in inbalance or back problems and if you dont mind ,can you recomend me some exercises (or better yet videos i can use) i want to get a strong and good looking core and biceps . Thank you in advance!

I am still over weight... (Beer belly) and when I run the jumble of my beer gut messes with my head and eventually alot of Reflux... How can I feel better about this tell my gut goes away....flabbergasted... Lol.... Sad face 😳.... Rissie Rai

Find a friend or friends that r willing to go out to train with u. That way u dont have to worry too much about what other ppl think of u. Just think of it as hanging out with friends by doing amazing exercises like these

TappBrothers Hey guys... I tried the workout.... but I couldn't finish t... I did 60% of the first 3 kinds of QM, and 100% of the last.... Im only a beginner, and am a bit overweight... is it ok if I do this?

Just tried this for the first time. I did everything (definitely not ten times in a row though). Question, does this work most muscles in the body? Because I feel like I should be feeling more sore than I am, and I'm fairly​certain I had proper form throughout.

Yes mainly the front part of the body but you are using all your leg muscles while you sprint

hey Thomas and Jonathan , love the workout! i have a quiestion for you guys........my training spot is mostly inclined, i would probably find some space to do the kongs and qms on a flat surface (switching direction a lot) but my sprints would have to be on the inclined surface. would that damage my joints?

Dan Idaho I may not be the Tapp brothers, but I can tell you that sprinting up an incline, so long as your form's good and the incline isn't insanely severe, is very good for your speed and stamina (but it's brutal if you're not used to it, so be careful).
