Ever since the resurrection of Scar by the hyenas, Scar had been working to destroy Simba and the Pride Lands to take his revenge. With his army of crocodiles, jackals, hyenas and vultures, Scar had been launching assaults for many seasons which made keeping peace a dangerous and difficult task for Simba and The Lion Guard. But inevitably they had enough and became convinced they needed to stop Scar’s ghost.

I love how Kion, Mufasa, and Simba each contributed to the defeat of Scar. Mufasa told Kion not to fight fire with fire. Simba told Kion that forgiving his enemies is what he does best, it's what makes Kion, Kion. And of course, Kion makes the choice to put aside his immediate emotional responses to the situation, which he's fallen on in the past, and forgives Scar. Awesome way to give all three protagonists some credit in taking down their worst enemy.

Ironically , well I but in more safer way. I met my enemy in Kindergarten Blond girl and always like pink and very Chubby. Every single day she excused me for cheating . She will always point at me for cheating. I warned her if she or her bystander excused me for I will threw the pencil and her eyes . Her stupid friend gave me write up . She should had write up and hailback . She got hailback . I refuse to talk anyone until 2nd grade . I released the words in front of class in 4 th grade as question but too many people suprize . A year later, She said “ I am sorry.” I was planning to pick the revenge because she didn’t get write up but I aslo realize that she was hailback which’s is worse than write up being 2nd highest punishment. I did regret for wish her hailback. I end up forgive her . I have seen her since this she did mention about moving. I aslo apologize to for threwimg a pencil. I never real realized that I wished someone bad. I am usally shy because I don’t trust many people but when I do earn there trust . I was freindly at her and she was already unfriendly to everyone.

Thee is boy in camp : He kind of acts like Scar . He is bully and he if to girl that she was bullying said “ I ripped you in shreds.” I explained to my mom and my brother ( by accident for my brother). My mom said “ Don’t do anything.” My brother said “ Rip him in shreds and hit his nose till it bleed . “ I said “ I am not like him . That cruel because I did it kindergarten When arrived at my grandparents house . I speak to my father. My father said the same thing at his own . It had been almost two weeks because I did made a promise for him to not bully her on day but the ment a week. I said “ You should going up to tell on counsler .” She said “ I will be called a snitch,” I said “ It is okay to snitch when your or someone esle is in trouble .” She said “ Okay.” The consumer did mention who esle was involved in it. I was just being a bystander and not enemy. I did raise my hand . The girl said “ I help her to talk to you than keep it in. I was already boar of camp being in 5 th grade.

Yeah but kion pretty much does everything right He always responses to everyone in the right way and he always does everything like he’s supposed to which I think makes him less Like a cool character and more like a Robot programmed to teach kids how to act and that’s why I just don’t like kion that much

@@kelsiarnoldmcmartin73 I totally agree that Kion's place in the story as its main character is to teach their Disney Junior audience the right way of going about life. Luckily, this final season added a lot more nuance to Kion's character arc, including his inner turmoil as he combats the same poisoned mind as Scar. Seeing Kion make mistakes and even lash out against his friends, in my opinion, contributed greatly to his overall character.

Thanks for the upload Isaac. The 1 hour special Battle for the Pride Lands was an awesome resolution and closure for Scar and Ushari since "Rise of Scar". Even the Hyenas including Janja's clan have finally reformed.

I like how this episode tied up quite a few loose ends in the Lion King Universe. How Scar got his scar, how Scar gained a motive, and probably the reason why the lion guard wasn't in the Lion King 2. This series has been thought out pretty well, despite being written way after the movies, it fits in between the story very well. It's kind of surprising.

Yep. The only thing that doesn't fully fit, is the fact that they changed the story on how scar actually got his scar. They changed it though to fit this story line so I understand. But Apparently in the slightly different movie/book universe, he got it from a Buffalo or something. Was trying to humiliate mufasa but failed and got a scar in the process. Edit: he also ended up humiliating himself-

I love this show. I love how Kion always knows what's best & what's right not just for him but for everyone around him. Kion defeated Scar for good in the most peaceful way, by forgiving him & not judging him, it's like he said, "Only the great kings of the past can do that." Such an inspiration. The best part was when Mufassa told Kion he couldn't fight fire with fire, instead he blows softly to summon the Great kings of the best to rain down and put out the fire that made the Ghost of Scar. This series is so much more then a kids show.💕🦁

Though I never watched Lion Guard, I appreciated and liked its existence. Even though its a show for preschoolers, it has lore and canon and some epic looking stories. Because i don't watch it, I was surprised to see Kion and the others have grown up. Usually with preschool age shows they are always kids, but its honestly pretty cool they let them age up over time.

i do not think the lion guard destroyed scar, but destroyed the only place he can be present. The one who is still loyal to Scar can summon him again with a bacora staff and the roar of the elders at the top of a volcano.

It didn't destroy it, only sealed it for a while. Eventually that hardened layer will melt from the heat of the magma underneath, and he could potentially return.

@@hypersane2054 It doesn't have to explode, it only has to melt the hardened lava. Volcanoes come out of dormancy all the time, not even necessarily with an explosion. Sometimes the magma surges underneath, the top layer melts, and it just breaks apart in places.

He is summoned by the symbol and fire. The rain got rid of the symbol and the lava so he’s gone. But doesn’t that mean that the same process that brought him back the first time can don it again over and over again. So scar is an invincible villain that can be contained for a short period of time but can never be defeated.

Can i say two things: First: Usari is dead. And his last moments broke my heart. I am missing some details here about him. He was the one who found the way to bring back Scar and he was realy devoted to him. At the end he was heartbreaking to watch as he wanted to save Scar. But why? What inspired this devotion? As far we know, they had no connection while Scar was alive. Second: the “Stranger” who betrayed Scar looks realy similar to Zira. Maybe he is her father? And maybe that’s why Zira loves Scar that much. He reminds her to her father? And summoning the Great Kings to judge Scar was realy satisfying to watch. That scene is pure gold. Scar alwasy thought himself as a good king. But when Kion said he will be judged by the dead kings, he genuinely got scared. That was satisfying too.

I wish they woulda showed the conversation between Scar and Zira since this takes place b4 Simba's Pride, this show was a perfect opportunity to cover the holes between the first and second but they didn't use it to it's fullest. It coulda explained why and how Scar chose Kovu, and coulda explored Scar and Zira's relationship

You know why I liked the lion king? Because it was a movie about lions, animals, yes I can't complain about realism with a dancing and singing merkat together with his warthog best friend but, and I hope someone gets how I mean it, the lion guard is a little tooooo much magical stuff for my taste and it doesn't feel like the movies at all. Like, talking ghosts, talking clouds, talking to mufasa, his DEAD gandad like he'd just had to take the phone and call him? I mean, yeah the first movie had this scene with Simba and Mufasa too but that was kind of a special thing because of the tragedy and all that. The next time in TLK2 when he could have used his fathers advice very badly, Mufasa didn't appear to his own son. I don't know how to put it but Kion didn't even know any of these characters and him summoning stuff, magically blowing away things and being able to talk to spirits and alike makes it feel like a magical girl anime or something alike. I don't know, I don't like it. Not sure how to explain it. Edit: And that Scar is super stupid like, honestly? No? Kovu already got that tragic resemblence to Scar his non-dad I don't know whats that supposed to be does the second movie not count at all? Are we just having scars over the eye because its so fashionable now? ftgiuzhuiljok

YES, SAME! It's just doesn't fit to the whole TLK world at all. In my opinion, it just ruins the atmosphere. I can't get myself to like TLG, and that's mostly because of all this magic stuff. Like, I completely agree with your opinion.

@@chryscantsleep even watching something multiple times can still pronounce something wrong. I watch lion guard constantly with my toddler(well i watch it he runs off xD). Almost a month straight if the shuja episode and i still pronounce shuja wrong.

A lot of the characters I struggled with I felt were characters that weren't in the show very much. Thus seeing there names and the way they were spelled was not intuitive to me. Nonetheless, I'm sorry I pronounced them wrong

@@em.westfall_ kion talks to the lions of the past n uses a magic roar to summon them to ward off danger. Rafiki uses a staff to makes special drawings come to life and the staff can be used to summon dark spirits They seem able to use magic just fine

It's great that Kion learned another way to defeat Scar. This is reminding me of Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Samson's Hairbrush: Cuke wanted to get even with Prof. Rattan, but if he does the same thing his bully does, then Cuke would be a bully too. Sometimes when we're dealing with bullies, we should not use force, but stand up to what we believe in. Hope they are people like Kion and Cuke out there, especially children. ; )
