US Military Bases in S Korea, Japan, Philippines, and Indonesia. The exploitation of young women in poverty continues with no accountability or justice.

Japan too, in the past in 1940s. My late grandpa was kidnapped by Japanese soldier from his hometown and force to fight for them as a young teenager. And he was kidnapped to Indonesia. There he was taken care by local prostitutes like a family. He said he was grateful to them and he said those women are like family to him and he called them his sisters. Those Indonesian women were forced to service the Japanese soldiers. He managed to get back home by smuggle himself on a fisherman boat with the help of the locals.

Wherever u.s. soldiers go, there’s guaranteed moral corruption happening. And they seem to think they’re so brave and admirable, ffs 🙄😒🤦🏽‍♀️

They wonder why there is so much military perversion, fetishism, and sexism. If military members are willing to treat foreign women like this, imagine what they do to their sisters in arms or their wives.

The prostitution industry in Thailand is also a holdover from US military adventures in SE Asia, where soldiers came in during the Vietnam war wanting sex. It's now a huge part of the Thai economy, with tourists being the new clientelle. The Thail people couldn't get rid of it if they wanted. It's too ingrained now.

This is true but not all military personell were involved in this disgusting act. My father a 35 year Army veteran told me a story when he was deployed to South Korea in the mid 80's. A Korean soldier and a friend brought my father a 12 year old girl to have sex with him. My father flew into a rage where he flipped his desk and threw the chair at them. My Korean mother was in shocked at the story because she didn't know this sex trade was going on in her homeland.

I spent a little over a year in Korea with broken time as I first visited Korea in 1990 and again ten years later. The change in how people treated me was drastic as before I was treated very nicely but in my time away the US media was allowed to broadcast in Korea and the second time I visited Korea women showed signs of fear of the color of my skin alone. Now what isn't being told in this video is they had red light districts where no US soldier could go in as it was for Korean's only. The women I dated all chose me as I would not force myself on no one as that is simply not the way I was brought up. I also spent time in the Philippines and in Japan, and ended up marrying a Filipina woman whom I had met through a pen-pal service. I almost married a Korean woman but things just didn't turn out in a way where it could have happened. Now having been married for 20 plus years I think I made an okay choice as most, it not all, of my friends have went through a divorce some more than once in the time I have been married. It's sad to see things like this takes place outside of America but it also happens inside of America as it's the oldest profession known to man, thus they will find a way to earn a living from sleeping with the US military service members as there is just too much money to be made. When I went back to Korea I spent a little time trying to locate a Korean woman that had truly made an impression on me but the place where she lived was gone and I didn't spend much time beyond that in looking for her. I figured in ten years she was more than likely married with a family and all that so I just moved on. I got married a few years later.

Title is misleading Should be "A" sex trade built for soldiers. Korea already had a sex trade, but there definitely was a niche carved out for the US military and seemingly approved by both governments. The US military also reportedly took the responsibility of getting STD tests for the many Bar girls...particularly in Korea (Around Osan Air Base). I'm sure the system is very much alive today as well.
