4-5 when flacco went down, won 6 of the last 7, including an OT loss to the chiefs. Lamar absolutely saved plenty of jobs in the building, and smart fans knew it at the time
@@Acm075 I get what you are saying but praying the guy who got us one, of only 2 super bowls in the past 24 years, gets hurt is wild. Praying for any injuries is kinda nuts. Flacco was on the decline but that’s just wild
@@Derrixk do what specifically? I wanted Harbaugh gone at one point. But, do you think players would've played better against the Chiefs if he wasn't the head coach?
Yes he did ! And then that coach of the year blew the home, playoff game planning, execution, and adjustments ! Then, in the after game interview, threw the team under the bus ! Coach of the year, my-ass !
@@calebdiscool40 Lamar really be in the Baltimore community really supporting the city and is a great role model for the youth in Baltimore. "The black media qb" is actually someone the youth of this city can relate too not no fucking Joe Flacco. Baltimore people really experience what Lamar go thru everyday just by staying true to their selves and their identity. You referring to him as "The black media" qb is a prime example of the scrutiny that I was implying....if you said that shit at M&T Bank stadium I would've ran in ya mouth yo rs racist ass.
Ima big time ravens from the Bay Area .. I’m like 15 years in fr we been some dogs.. but Lamar came and changed everything but learning this hit harder. They kept composer and been the playoffs ever since. John’s getting his second ring and Lamar is getting his first .. now that I know the locker room story from when Joe got injured this shit makes sense. Come On Flock Nation It’s Only Right We Win That Bowl
So was bill walsh and all these other coaches that had GREAT Players bailed out too ? 😂 this guy is a choke artist but tony dungy bill cowher mccarthy gruden pederson sean payton are all legends lmaoo 😂
@@MikkiChavez lmao okay buddy. Steeler fans would beg to differ 1 & 2 the POINT is he said he was bailed out he’s whole career which of course doesnt get any response. ALL Those coaches i named are “well respected coaches” that get credit for WINNING not “oh he had ben he had troy he got bailed out” 😭😂
Full disclosure - I usually don’t usually have strong takes except I had been screaming into my empty bag of Doritos for at least two years before the Ravens drafted Lamar that the team needed to move off of Joe. I bring that up because this interview shows why Harbaugh is so good at managing media/ fans whatever and why he’s such a good HC (I also think the ravens have had good GMs and ownership- it’s well run). These last few years with Joe when he just wasn’t good, Harbaugh never criticized him publicly. At the podium, never pointed fingers. I know it’s the right way to coach but as a fan, frustrating. I remember those weeks when Joe was supposedly “injured” in 2018 (and the injury was suspicious because people like me were saying play Lamar - like I’m listened to, lol) and Harbaugh relentlessly say it was just an injury - neck, if I remember- and to hear from the beginning Harbaugh tell the team he’s making the switch of QB reassures me that he made the switch earlier. (It looks like he lied to the media and fans and that’s fan - a lot of fans are morons that still wanted Joe to play; just win games and they’ll shut up). My own take on Harbaugh on the hot seat is that ownership/ GM wanted this QB change too but it is of course the Head Coach’s decision but he was being told that unless he made the right decision it could be his job. (Btw, if the ravens ever fired Harbaugh - then or now- I think he could easily find another gig quickly although I think he likes it here.). John Harbaugh is loyal sometimes to a flaw and he keeps coordinators a little longer than most would and a starting QB that had won him a Super Bowl 5 years before as well. But once he switched on that he was all in on Lamar Jackson and has been his most vocal advocate since. People who don’t get why he’s been HC for as long as he has mostly don’t know what they’re talking about.
I feel like these titles are disrespectful. Also saying Lamar wasn’t good in 2018 is super disrespectful he was a rookie thrust into the game. Seems like you tryna go viral 👎
I'm surprised you seen but you got ppl saying he still can't read a defense when he can his first year with a new oc 3 different wrs miss most of camp and makes it to afc champ game says alot if t
That's what separates Harbs from other coaches. Another coach would've stuck with RG3 and put Flacco back in when healthy and rode with his SB winning guy from years ago. Instead Harbs pivoted the team cuz they did believe in Lamar and Lamar was empowered and emboldened to succeed and he did!
@@boybiggums2378 and in case you missed it RG says in another part of this interview that coaches would rather lose than sign him cuz it would upset their starter. HArbaugh was not one of those coaches and he wasn't gonna go down with an injured flaaco, he went up with an ascending Lamar.
Which is why I will firmly and forever stand on the belief that John Harbough is a bad head coach at best. If there's ever critical moments in a game, you better believe he is on the bad side of it.
Career!! Brian billick won a Superbowl too but never coached again. And Brian was a OC bringing a specialty on 1 side of the ball John is a special team guy I don't think he'd have gotten another shot. Most coaches are marketable cuz on 1 side they are a respected mind harbaugh strength is that he can run/manage a team
Hey Marlow listen from now on every defensive guy needs to wear the same color gloves as the jersey of the team we are playing rs get up on it in practice m watch the good results n less holding calls
Bottom Line!! Harbaugh is not a great coach. Is he good, sure? But AS LONG AS HE IS HEAD COACH LAMAR AND THE OTHER TALENT WILL GET THEM TO PLAYOFFS, BUT WILL LOSE!! WHY?? BECAUSE JOHN HARBAUGH HAS AND WILL GET OUTCOACHED IN THE PLAYOFFS. THAT IS 100% FACT!!
Ravens football has always been on the map. Well, atleast since 2000. We've always had a team that competes just about every season, aside from a few seasons..
I don't get you Baltimore fans? If you trade him and got Drake Maye, or had a Justin Herbert, Trevor Lawrence, Patrick Mahomes, Joe burrow, Josh Allen, Matthew Stafford, Jared Goff or Baker Mayfield your team could won 3-4 super bowls (take Trevor out due to when he entered the league) your team could win so many sb. You have to get off that black qb hype train.
