Trivia answer: No. Adam uses the knuckle dusters like a boxing glove. Knuckle dusters are more for slicing motions than actual full on punches.

No because the way he is using them will actually cause damage to your own hand. Having them worn like he does can lead to an easy dislocation and makes it harder to properly brace. A knuckle duster is worn like you have it to allow better shock absorption and to brace against the meat of your palm.

I have a theory that Adam's weapon was brass knuckles. First of all, Adam was the first human, and back then, almost all weapons had not yet been invented. Since he was the first human, he wouldn't have known how to wield a sword, spear, or other weapons. The brass knuckles would have been the most compatible weapon for him, suiting his natural fighting skills.

@@draketurtle4169Even the studio told to do the animation understood it wouldn't be liked. They do it for a living. At least interactive novels are very obviously selling a unique experience. WOTHH appears alongside many other normal shows. Objectively, yes it is shit when, even though stuff like Naruto or Boruto tried to be animated nicely and it didn't work, they at least tried. WOTHH is deliberately going with the LOWEST effort animation because that is the intention, and honestly I don't like the idea of supporting it. This is low effort and low budget, even lower than Naruto or Boruto. Again they're at least trying to deliver visuals. The animation studio agrees it isn't good compared to anything else, even if intentional and I must take their word as the most truthful.

@@ghoulishgoober3122 boruto/naruto don’t have excuses, it’s rushed and sloppy all around. There is no excuse for that. Might as well use excessive still frames at that point. Or idk, just not really animate it beyond the minimum. One isn’t bad because it’s a rushed slop that should never have been made like that. The other isn’t trying to be anything but the bare minimum and closest to if you read it but still be anime. In other words ones a choice the other is cutting corners and rushing something for the sake of profit.

the problem with brass knuckles is that it makes a fist fight into a deadly exchange, so if you whip them out best pray noone has a gun or a knife because you have now authorized deadly force

Unfortunately fist 'fights' are already deadly - the cranial deceleration against concrete is what gets you after blunt force to the skull. Dusters just increase the likelihood of serious injury.

I heard somewhere that these almost work better for "cutting" rather than breaking, as in you don't wanna go for a hard impact strike, but rather you go for an almost swiping motion to open up a gash on the person's face. Like you target the lips or areas above the eyes.

Brass knuckles actually take a little mor3 effort to learn than you think. They aren't made to be braced right behind where you would throw a normal punch. Where you connect with the tops of your knuckles. Most are made to be braced in the palm. So the punch needs to be thrown more like you're a cat and are "pawing" at something. More of a swipe. To be used without hurting your hand as much as their face.

Can you please check how legit is Ryuhei Sawamura's Bullet Jab and Thunderbolt counters? I honestly wanna learn it and as I remember.. Bullet Jab is based on real life Bazooka Jab and Thunderbolt is technically a straight to the face or something, but it was different in the anime due to the main character's lesser height compared to Sawamura.

List of other cons: Your grip changes, you can't punch the same way as you would without them, they don't really help with increasing of blunt force, some designs make you more prone to injury, illegal in most places (like where I live) They are great for causing tears in skin, scratching the opponent, but with grip they force you to take you won't be throwing any hard punches. It really is a weapon for jabbing to cause bleeding or, like with your design, beating the skull with a hammer fist more effectively I was trying to find a design I'd be comfortable with, as in the one meant for actual boxing and blunt force, but it's easier to use a horseshoe instead. Or just get a stripe of steel and bend it around the arm

ngl, practically speaking I think it's easier to avoid getting decked while putting on the knuckledusters if you instead use, say, heavy rings on each finger. same effect, less obviously illegal (bc rings), AND you still have the same effect! just gotta make sure the rings are good quality and heavy duty

@@TheArtisticIntrovertEven the rings of knuckle dusters are a point of concern. I don't really know why they envelop each finger. The classic design isn't very good. The palm brace, although makes it safer than just straight up rings on your fingers, is usually too thin for good load distribution. That's why individual rings would be horrible. If anything, they'd make it worse by focusing the energy to a specific point on your finger's bone.

Here's the thing. Knuckle dusters don't even protect your hands. Most people throw heavy punches and with the dusters on, they will hurt the user

Another con is that most people don't know how to properly use and place the knuckles in your palm. You are going to want to swipe at you adversary using the knuckles instead of of regular strikes

In the state of Oklahoma. You can legally carry them on your person in public. But if it was used in a crime it immediately jumps the crime up. Like if you were arguing with someone and punched them without brass knuckles. It could be a misdemeanor assault and battery. Now if the brass knuckles were used in the punch. It would become a felony Aggravated Assault and Battery With A Dangerous Weapon charge. 12 months in jail vs 25 years imprisoned charge.
