I feel so sad for these families and also so proud that at the beginning of next month, we are legalizing same-sex marriages in Greece.

The lawmakers are also parents too. And they should think twice before implementing the laws. They dont know what people are going through or other families are going through. As a third generation Italian American and a happily married gay man, it makes me sad that I would be looked down upon and my marriage dismissed if I visited my grandparents' homeland. I'm even sadder for LGBTQ Italians who only desire the basic human right of having a family. I hope that those who are forcing their antiquated fear-born beliefs on others will find the love in their hearts to live and let live. Even the Pope is now taking a loving and welcoming stance towards LGBTQ people and honoring them as natural important members of the fabric of humanity, although he needs to stop splitting hairs by calling homosexuality natural but still a sin. Seems the current govt in Italy, has turned the clock back about 600 years (or wants to!!), sadly most countries where the 'official' religion is Catholic or other extremes, dominate and control laws & minds to the same end. My own country of origin as part of the Balkans has been Catholic dominated for hundreds and years, and still is - 'church and state' commented with regular ease. My blood family (I was adopted and am also Gay) come from a very small peasant village in the Dinaric Alps, there is no-one in Village even today who is 'not family' in some way. Since the plague passed through the area c1420 my family have actively practised 'incest', and with the known support of the Catholic Church (the worst paedophile supporters & practitioners in the world, even today), so it is VERY easy to see the current Italian Govt peddling the same old Catholic agenda here. Children need a mother and father, not 2 mothers or 2 fathers. LGBT must not adopt children as if they were pets. A child cannot chose their family. Natyraly is conceived from egg and sperm, so you cannot force a child to grow up on same sex couples. I don't belive in religion but in the God of universe, who created all human beings.

If the lgbt people of the earth were given a piece of land to settle in without anyone interfering with them, would they had wanted that? Would women want to live there and be surrogotes for them? If your existence is dependent on people who get married and have children, then how did you expect to pass one generation of existence without coming to the conclusion that your lifestyle is against human existence?

There are fruits that you cannot buy, if you want to consume them, you need to cultivate them yourself, and most fruits carry with them two essential factors for their formation and therefore their existence as well, these two factors, the seed; and fertile ground. Remember, buying is not an option.

Our daughters, and all of our children and their descendants need to be able to grow up in a country which is safe, homogeneous, and high-trust. A country in which we, the peoples of Britain, dictate our own affairs and our own destiny, rather than traitors and parasites who serve megalomaniacal foreign psychopaths who despise us. And above all, a country which simply feels like home. A country which is genuinely ours, as it ought to be.
