Sounds fun but didn't really show how we actually go get the loot. Do i need to just jump to random belts/moons? Jump to combat sites (If there are any)? D-Scan something? Really confused what im supposed to look for once i get to that space.
Well, you need to find the wrecks to salvage, sooo... Yeah, quite a bit of D-scanning and warping around. You can look either for Wrecks themselves, or NPCs engaged in battle, that will provide wrecks in near future. Either way, you're basically relying on the environment to produce the wrecks you're salvaging, so some patience may be necessary. Especially shortly after DT - just not enough time for NPCs to find and kill each other...
@@MerchantIvoryfilms No you can't, but you can narrow down their location. They can be at pretty much any celestial object, and with multiple possible objects often within scan range, narrow arc scans will decrease the time you spend mindlessly warping around Basic operation would be - Warp within scan range of a bunch of celestials, do a wide sweep to see if there are any wrecks, if yes, do narrow arc sweeps to pinpoint their exact location. If no wrecks on wide sweep, warp towards next set of celestials and repeat. It might be worth setting up an overview tab just for scanning the wrecks, as their possible locations include gates, stations, planets/POCOs, moons and belts. So having them along with wrecks on a single overview tab can drastically ease locating them.
Pretty simple actually!! DSCAN for wrecks, warp to them (check for hostiles first), salvage wrecks, deposit loot in stations Hearting your comment so more people see!!
I was thinking a 200km drone range algos stuffed with t2 salvage drones sitting 100-200km away from warpable objects could theoretically clear out a slavage field while still having plenty of time to scoop drones and warp off if someone comes for it

Nooo, why'd you tell them, I was so comfortable with quiet salvaging. Imho MTUs are a bad idea and make you a target, I also carry warpscrams for freeloot from other salvagers, never trust an imicus ;), I have expanded probe launchers so I can scan down observatory flashpoints that have vargurs/ishtars in them, so I can salvage the loot in those places aswell.
Great video, I've already been lucky with one of the ships and earned well! Now I have a question on my own behalf, do you have a page with skill plans for the individual ships? With some I am missing something and I can't find out what I am missing in the skills. With a skill plan, I would be able to see and skill quickly to be able to fly the ships exactly the same. Thanks in advance!
@loru you're reach is too big. Took your advice & fitted a Sunesis & went to Pochven. I've seen about 90 Atrons & there isn't a wreck left. Unless of course you count the salvager ships getting wrecked here non-stop. Your patreon should have videos like these for 2 weeks before it goes on RU-vid. That way I can pay for making the money. Now there's nothing out here other than death.
I see you cranked the quality settings to the max but when I do that the game becomes a slideshow despite having a pretty good computer. May I know your configuration and your average FPS in Eve ?
He says "I use D-scan" but you cannot warp to the sites on D-scan...im guessing unless you jump around and guess some more hoping you get lucky and close enough to it to jump to it....again this was all critical info he didn't show and left us all confused how to get it.
@@MerchantIvoryfilmsyou probably need to watch his other video about D-scan he shows how to narrow the beam and figure out which celestial something is at.
