While aware of the Little Nightmares games, having watched a couple of streams, I was only mildly intrigued. In comes HighFunctioningMedium, makes a feature length introspective, and all of a sudden I NEED to play the games. Turns out, I even own the first one. Dude... you are a weapon of mass enhyperning. Yes, that's a word now.
Much of the rest of the level lengthwise I mean, wasn't speaking on quality! I was most looking at the timestamps and scrubbing through the part I missed. I just watched someone's playthrough of the last couple minutes. I didnt see anything of note happen around the furnace per se, just the nomes gathering round. Were you referring to the elevator shot with the Lady in it just after?
@@MidnightMedium More the Cinematic effect of that scene, it hits different when you’re playing for yourself, and it hits even harder when you know how the next chapter ends. That little place around the fire is one of very few places of warmth and safety on the Maw, and also the last warm and safe place the Runaway kid is in before he goes to lady’s quarters and meets his fate. It’s honestly hard to physically make the Runaway kid leave that place when you know what happens next. So yeah, you CAN miss that scene and still get the story but I just think it’s very artistically beautiful and a real pity to miss out on.
