Your editing is incredible. I always feel like I’m a friend who’s been invited to tag along for the day. Thank you for including us in your family’s journey.
Just a note, but a couple of days ago in Palo Duro Canyon, Texas many RVer's lost their rigs in a tornado. No injuries as the park has a tornado shelter. Keep them in your prayers and remember to make sure you have plans in case of storms like these.
As a Floridian you guys are cracking me up about the humidity. This is our “dry” season. 🤣 I am having to lather up with lotion everyday as my skin dries out.
After watching for years we got our first Travel Trailer last week! When I make a suggestion my husband says “let me guess KYD said too”. 😂 Well he is not wrong.
Congrats! Your first Travel Trailer will be a unit you never forget. S B mentioned something really important: Maintenance. I would add "especially" if you don't use it often, make a maintenance schedule and be sure to keep it up even if you are not getting the unit out. Have fun.
@@kristinag1610 usually you call in advanced and plan your trips according to the campground availability. it becomes second nature to just sit there and book a few campgrounds along your route and take several days between stops to recharge and relax in different areas.
If you are still in Florida, check out Shell Key. It is in the Fort Desoto area. We had a blast there. We are loving the fulltime rving! We still remember when we first saw your channel and inspired us to go fulltime. We are 6 months in and not looking back!
With all the wonderful family experiences that you guys are having, never mind recording for posterity, you two are going to be the most contented couple in the old folks home. :-)
While I reminisce about our short 1 day cruise ship stay in Key West while on honeymoon from Ireland back 2005 which was right in the middle of hurricane Katrina, it is my most memorable place ever that I want to re-visit. We landed there to sandbags everywhere, shops closed, trees down but I still saw the beauty and fell in love with the place. Ya know that imaginary bucket list everyone has it is my No.1. to go back to. Your videos just stirred up why I loved it so much and more and it got my mind thinking it is time to go back there for real not by ship but with 7 sisters I am (at present) rallying them up to do it Thelma and Louise style (fly and drive). But I have to say your entire 'Between the seasons' is my favourite after watching you guys since Covid hit - I would watch 2-3 eps every evening to keep my spirits high and before I knew it I am almost watching you guys in real time,,,,which makes me sad cos I like to watch more than one episode at a time. Anyway time for me to stop rambling..... love the vlogs. and watching the kids grow up! I wish ye so much future success - ye deserve it!
I’ve been following since the beginning and my favorite part is that years from now you, your kids, grandkids can see and hear you living your life. The RV how-to videos are helpful but in no way are they the reason I watch.
Man! The music that you chose to go with the bird sanctuary footage was perfect! The combo of the music with your videography was spectacular! You’re good at this, Marc! Thanks for sharing. ❤️👍🏻
Enjoyed watching the Axe throwing as that would be fun to do. At least Mark held on to his phone. Thank you as this was fun to watch. Hopefully your not where the weather is bad. Hugs to Charlie.
If you were going to use your pump on those SUP boards very often you could buy a very reasonably priced inline air dryer to prevent the moisture issue.
Stop & camp at Huntington Beach State Park, SC on your way home. My personal favorite Beach CG. Dinner & live music @ Dead Dog Saloon in nearby Murrells Inlet. Love you guys so much. Always look forward to Sun night vid!!
Love seeing the NO SNOW paddle boards. I have 3 of my own, and plan on taking one with me when I get on the road. For now I just have to do the Salt river until I retire full time. Hope to see you out there someday. TFS Thanks For Sharing
My husband and I spent hours, when we were in Florida last month, just watching aquatic birds in their nesting areas. So peaceful and relaxing. Looks like y’all had a wonderful time.
Oh my, love love love you guys! We finally bought our first camper! We have been tent camping/ backppacking for years but decided we want to extend our range. I would highly recommend you visit the county parks in Florida! Alot of State Park level camping at these parks . Our favorite it camping at Kelly Park in Orange County and visting Mount Dora about 40 min away. So much fun! And if you havent caught a shark or a stingray on a line yet you havent expereienced FL. Hope to see you on trail as we expand our journey!
Your final few moments in this episode reminded me a great deal of Charles Kuralt in his heydays-and I have to say in my view, that's a huge compliment.
My “Summer to Remember” starts Friday!!!! I’m ready for this!!!!! It’s been over a year, an entire year since I’ve gone anywhere or done anything. Need that shirt ASAP... 😃
My neck of the woods. Rookery Bay is amazing as well as the 10Ks ❤️❤️❤️ Love Flagstaff. It’s beautiful there!!! Traveled through that neck of the woods with Ladies Offroad Network ❤️
So cool to see my photo of my wife and dogs as the 2020 Summer To Remember model! Can’t wait to see the new design and represent KYD on the dunes this year.
Mangrove(ing) was wonderus lush of greenery & swampy combined-thx for sharing/show! 😎 🐊🦩👒 🕶️🩴 Your such a commaderie of good family energy on a *down-to-earth* basis- I'm hooked to that positiveness 🤗
Next time you go to the Naples area Trish would like South Naples Citrus Grove 341 Sabal Palm Rd, Naples, FL 34114. Great fresh vegetables and fruit and some Oranges and Grapefruit are grown on site. The citrus grove is beside the market. We have a 31ft class C pulling a trailer and had no problem with parking. The Orange ice cream is really tasty.
Yeah....that looks like Everglades City where we took an airboat ride to view the alligators. Our boat captain got real excited when we all saw an Anaconda, fall out of the mangroves, about 30 yards in front of our boat!
I can't tell you just how much i enjoy seeing your adventures & your insight on RV life. I am about to sell my home in NJ & move into a travel trailer full time in Florida where my family is. My excitement level is off the charts but all the while realizing all of the good, bad & ugly of that kind of life style. Keep doing what it is your doing because i can tell you without a doubt that it inspires & encourages those who watch. Happy & safe trails.
Hello from Australia. I like to pump the first bit of an inflatable sup with a cordless leaf blower (handy to clean a bit of sand off before rolling up too) then connect the compressor to make it firm (10 psi). Look forward to a day when you get to travel Australia!
What a super fun episode, paddle board tour was great, Iphone did it again, great filming, what an axeleent time AXE throwing... looking forward to next episode
KYD! I have been following you since the beginning. I finally decided to buy a trailer. We decided on a popup with a toy hauler. We wanted enclosed but like you have mentioned. “Just do with what you got” I am more than excited! Thank you for helping me start and for all the information. We plan to live in a travel trailer eventually. Family of 6 and growing
We were just out on our boat this weekend and dolphins everywhere. Hope you guys had fun visiting our neck of the woods. We live in Bonita Springs and love going through the mangroves. Next time you guys are down let us know and we will take you out on the boat. Frank and Jan
Naples is a beautiful area, my wife and her family are all from Naples, so we visit yearly, and try to make it to most of the areas you hit on here. Thank you for donating to such a great cause, Team Rubicon, I am a 22.5 year retired ASAF veteran, and have my own 501C3 organization for veterans as well, so thank you. we will be in the Cody area end of June first of July then headed over into the BigHorns, and maybe back over to the Black hills Forest.
So let's explore the alternative... I anticipate the blind side back-in after check-in and choose not to follow the signs to the site, but rather go the wrong way down a one-way road to meet another RV. I'm the one going the wrong way, so I guess I should be the one to back-up. Did you see how tight the road was with the cars lined on the left and right? Let's say there are no cars and I make it to the site only to find the RV site is angled to the other way. So now I get a driver side back-in, but have to turn 80 degrees, which as you know causes the truck to swing way further over to the other side. Or, we walk to the site and check it out before driving back and then have Trish block cars to go the other way. I suspect this would take about 20 min or so. All to avoid a blind side back-in that really isn't that hard and nothing got damaged. This is RV Life. I just roll with it.
You should have going to Sanibel and Captiva. You would seen dolphins and manatees for sure. We lived in Naples for 10 years. Thank you for sharing your time there.
You picked a good time to go south. Flagstaff has been buried in snow all winter. I look forward to your videos every week, so nice and happy and peaceful. Your ax throwing skills were very impressive.
Wow this was another great video. At first I was going to tell you the high volume hand pumps work better than an air compressor, but you got that figured out. Didn't see you deflate, but if you use pump the pump intake, it socks all air and moisture out of the tube. Ax throwing is a big deal up here but was fun to watch. Then your video at the end just blew me away great job. Made me soon want to be there. Thanks.
We went Axe throwing right before the Pandemic hit at a place called “Axe Nation” here in Chicagoland and loved it. So much more fun than I expected. Great job!
Great job on that tough back in at the RV park! When you guys were heading out and the navigation was going off on your phones; I kept thinking it was mine and turned the volume down on my phone, note once but twice! 🤪 The ax throwing a looks amazingly fun! Love the nature video and tunes at the end!
You guys are so motivating! I am finishing a travel PT contract in south Texas. We have explored Texas Revolution sites, Hill Country, and the coast. In a couple weeks were off to Port Aransas for a week, then Galveston, Waco, and Harvest Hosts all the way back to home in Idaho. Oh, and we pull the Grand Design Reflexion that you guys helped us choose, Anyways, thanks for the effort and passion!
We love your videos, positivity and energy! Trish your meals are always so amazing!! Thanks for sharing! We just bought a bunkhouse travel trailer a few weeks ago and will be taking our first trip this weekend!! So excited to see where this lifestyle takes us. My family had a rig when I was a kid but this will be a whole new world for my husband and kids!! 😄
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your channel. Super great editing and production quality. I’m stationary here in my class C at an RV Resort for likely the rest of ‘21. Cheers from Naples! 🤗
OMG. I just went axe throwing w my grands.... they are 26 and 23. I am 70... guess who won... their 74 year old granddad... 🤣. I always enjoy your journeys❣️❣️❣️. We paddle board w the kid and grands... are they blow up?
You all do a wonderful job at this, finally got my big boy truck and got an old 5th wheel camper needs a roof but hopefully will be on the road for a few quickies to see how we like it just gonna tool around ky for now til I get used to towing and backing. maybe someday our paths will cross. Keep up the great work, also a member of the E3 club
Thank you. I watch your videos while I’m deployed and keep them on repeat to keep me going. The montages helps the most. What ever you do don’t stop what you’re doing. More people than you know depend on you to help then get home. I’ll finally be able to start my KYD when I get home this summer. Would you ever do a KYD military?
