Not the biggest baseball fan but I really need to get to American Family Field, seems like a great designed place. Almost went to the Luke Combs concert but couldn’t
Thankfully, you weren't a terrorist! Nonetheless, Brewer's brass gets hold of this footage and I guarantee heads will roll (no pun intended) in the security department. 👍👍💗💗
What game did you go to? Was it the Tuesday game or Wednesday game? Tuesday was almost 42K and not many empty seats except a few sections in the 400 area. Wednesday game though was much less as middle of the week and day game. Those always stink until school is out and it warms up. To see that we still draw 2.5 mil a season for a cities who population is 500K tells you all you need to know that it bounces back strong as the season goes on. You have to come back in say July, do a Saturday or Sunday game. Arrive 2 hours early and take in the tail gate scene. You will... not ... find anything like that anywhere else in the country.
Midweek Afternoon games in April are going to be lower attendance. But when the weather warms up and we get closer to summer, the ballpark fills up. Also, the state passed legislation last year for financing renovations of American Family Field. Those renovations are expected to start taking places in phases after the 2024 season, and the Brewers lease at AmFam Field will now run through the 2050 season.
People would be surprised as to how much goes on in Milwaukee from April to October. There's happenings going on almost every weekend and a lot of neat places to visit, plus the weather is great. We're not the land of eternal winter, as some might anticipate.
