Good Evening 🌆 Nate. I gave your youtube video a huge thumbs up 👍 ok Nate. Iam still praying 🙏 for the entire world 🌎 too ok 👍 Nate. Amen 🙏. I hope that you having a great 👍 weekend Nate.
Pacific Standard Time USA 6 45 pm. I would get a bunch of Bibles because the Bible has the words of life. Everything is in the Bible that is happening now. I suggest the new international version or the English Standard Version. King James version also. The other Bibles are watered down
Give this man his Oscar right now! This is grade A production value right here. I laughed, I cried, and I walked away with a better understanding of how to survive the zombie apocalypse. Well done sir!
You lost your goddamn mind. The sickness must be getting to you.. I seen better acting in the Deliverance. Or the toxic avenger. I'm pretty sure the producer set forth to win the turd of the Year award🎉🎉🎉
Geez your son looks just like you. I'm 57 but remember being a kid , my dad in the military I always felt safe and protected. He was always on top of security walking in the house first locking doors very aware. We never wanted for anything. I'm hoping people are taking SHTF seriously for the children's sake. I tale care of 90 year old mom and things like diapers medicine boost drinks etc always stocking exit plans water purifying the whole shebang caring for someone is no joke especially when not mobile. Thanks for your channels I've learned a lot and have developed relationships for help when it goes down. I wouldn't have known about 80 of what's even going on if not for channels like yours and watchman channels
I'm 50 my dad 79 and my mom passed 6 yrs ago, my only son now 19 working, so it's only myself and dad in the huge house now. Zero desire for married life for me never. But yea it's beginning to be work if he gets sick
Yea, I hear ya. I helped take care of my Grandma right up until the day she died. I was actually holding her hand when she passed. This was in 2004, I'm 54 now ( she was 87 at the time ) and I agree, this is a spiritual war, good against evil.
As a student, I lived on freeze dried packaged foods like this for years. Most of them were actually quite good. I could burn water at that time and had almost no clue about real cooking. Fate saw to it that I had to fend for myself or starve, and using these foods as a base was how I learned to cook. Freeze dried foods make an excellent culinary base and allow for loads of variety in food preparation. Having watched many of your videos, Prepper, I guess am already more "prepped" for SHTF than I previously thought.
I'm also surprised you didn't have any stomach issues. Though it does prove that Food Fatigue will kick in pretty quickly. It's why I have so much variety in my stock, despite that I usually eat the same foods all the time. I know if it does go down, food fatugue will hit quickly.
Nate my girls and I love when u make hilarious videos. U make prepping for the SHTF more fun. With everything going on we need more fun and less stressful.
Prancing with the crossbow 😂Fantastic video! I have a couple of boxes of Peak on hand for my hubs & I (because of your other Peak vids) so this long term trial has been great to watch. We haven’t eaten them yet, fully trusting your, & your sons assessment 😅
My compliments, your son wouldn’t say the s… word. A respectful, well mannered young lad. It’s due the the parenting. Children are a reflection of their parents and teachers. Cheers!
I had the same thought. Most kids today don't care (I hear the kids next door drop F-bombs on a regular basis while they're shooting baskets in their driveway). It's nice to see a respectful kid!
One time on a multiday hike, we had some british military guys along. They had these freeze dried meals. I was so jealous as I smelled the curry dinner. It made their packs so much lighter, no dishes (to carry or wash), and they had more time to relax. They had pop up tents also and were watching the rest of us with curiosity as we just got our tents up and stoves out and they had eaten and were on to tea 😅😅😅😂
my uncles were in the ww2 too they said their footwear does need to be charged out too never mind you have clothes too and rags too lost on of your pack to have to carry all the time too you lost your shelter in a heavy wind storm too them what
Hilarious, upside surprise acting, top quality production. This is why I keep coming back to CANADIAN PREPPER, there’s always room for some laughter and light heartedness. It’s not always doom and gloom. Awesome stuff Nate and team. Looks like a fantastic place to work ❤
We did a challenge like this on a vacation last year - for a week we ate Peak Refuel, Mountain House and Thrive Life meals to see how we would do, we also included a variety of freeze dried fruits, and packets of oatmeal and freeze dried yogurt.....we were fine! We did include vitamins too and beverages were whatever (mostly water), including coffee.....and sorry Nate, I'm having cream in my coffee!
@@hawkhollar1228 I’m reminded to take the topic seriously; but my odds of surviving life-death scenarios; go up if I don’t take myself too seriously. And I try to always be kind.
I had to laugh. As an old man who grew up on a small, poor dirt farm without an indoor bathroom and lived from the huge gardens we had to grow and can and any game we hunted or fished, I found this "challenge" rather telling of the spoiled society many live in. I spent many winter days, weeks, months living on oatmeal, biscuits or simply a glass of fresh milk for breakfast and homemade tomato soup, cornbread and/or potatoes for supper. Then, I joined the military and ate a lot of field mil rations then the MRE came out, so we ate many of those for long periods. Many people complained about mil food, but to someone who grew up so poor, I had to laugh at others for being so spoiled. After seeing so many people in and from other countries who lived much of their lives on rice, rice, rice and the occasional small amounts of other grains and proteins, they loved to eat what many soldiers would throw over the fence lines.
I'm getting as prepared as I can be for me and my kids, but just listening to the ""news"" in the beginning of the video, I started getting a panic attack 😂
A 28 days later zombie outbreak would be the best thing that ever happened to the world, all the people that believe in guns would survive and the rest would die.
I was nervous, seeing his feet slipping off the ladder I was likeOMG!! 😮 do you know like when you watch a movie you know it’s not real but your screen anyway.😂
@@diedfrombored5295 I'm already seeing zombies while out and about. They are everywhere and they've well and truly lost their freaking minds. It's like the twilight zone out there lol !! 🤣🤣
Thanks for the video. When you commented on your digestive being normal that was my biggest concern. Agree balancing with other foods/vitamins will be helpful. Honestly have not tried Peak, it does looks good, better looking than Mtn House. We make our own FD meals, MREs along with canning, dehydrating, etc. but would definitely be worth buying especially if needed for bugging out or keeping low profile or confinement. Stay Safe & Good Luck
My idea was always to mix my freeze dried supply with actual rice and noodles an things like that, would stretch ur supply, if you mix 1 pack of freeze dried with rice or something you can feed ur family 1 meal with each pack
Yes absolutely, otherwise would be quite a financial strain. Multiply what he used up in 10 days with 4-5 for a family... Many wouldn't be able to afford it.
Nate: first of all thank you! This is excellent info to know. And your sidekick is precious! What an adorable little boy! This coming from a grandma of four! God bless and keep all of you!❤
Watching you skipping through the warehouse with an ax in one hand and a crossbow in the other was worth the whole video !🤣🤣 Thanks for that laugh! 👍let’s hope we never have to use this type of food for any SHTF moment !❤🇺🇸🥲
That's one of your better videos lately. The end of the world, dollar, civilization, etc. videos needed a break. This is a good move in the correct direction.
Having lived off preps for a while I learnt, you start to crave texture and things that are crunchy, cans and rehydrated foods will send you mad after a while
I can can heat and eat beef stew and other things for much cheaper. $14 for a meal is me eating a ribeye steak. For $14 I can can 5-7 quartz of beef stew. I got a rump roast for $9, carrots for $2-3, and potatoes for $2-3. I ate some today in fact and got 2 meals for a quart. I thought Mt House was expensive, sheesh.
I can honestly say my family enjoys freeze dried food. It became a problem keeping my kids out of our stash. I actually buy some foods just for anytime use, it's that good.
Always such great content and your sense of humor delivery, and creativity are the best. Having the young Canadian Prepper alongside you was a treat! Thanks again C.P. for another great video
No lol he's just trying to push more products and the best way for him to do this is by making us all think the world's gonna end everyday for years now... But no knock he knows how to get people to buy his products
We are Thrive Life distributors and got into it because we enjoyed eating the freeze-dried foods we were buying. I could definitely survive on Thrive Life foods.
The best video I have ever seen it terms of quality, importance and humor. Thank You! But now I can't stop asking myself, what's gonna happen with this warehouse after SHTF?
Your kids are adorable. I see a mini me in your son. Honestly though, Ive often thought I should pre taste my preps so I won't be disgusted at what I've bought.
I swear to God, I love you man! Every day you give me info, an informed opinion and laughter. The ability to laugh at oneself is a gift. Keep it up professor.
After watching this challenge I’m definitely going to increase my canned fruit in the pantry . I figure worst case I can donate it if I struggle to rotate through it. Also ❤ Peak Refuel - I have been slowly replacing my mountain house with Peak Refuel ever since I saw your first video on it.👍
Thank you so much for this video! The production value was awesome and educational. I've been feeling tired and drained then realized that it's my lean and calorie lessened diet doing it. Thank you!
Hey brother . . That opening segment was pretty good. Keep it up. We are the news now not to mention, entertainment. Great review too. Looks like a fun challenge. 🔜😎🕊️👍✌️
Hi Nate, I've been a subscriber for a couple of years and I have to say I enjoyed this video so much ! I appreciate your truthful videos on world affairs, but this one was a nice change of pace,. Keep on rockin'! Thom from BC
One - it’s good to see a regular video again. Two - thank you for sacrificing self comfort to see just how people would react to eating these for an extended amount of time. Great video.
Absolutely loved this. Like your style. I was rolling around laughing my head off but on a more serious note, those that haven't started prepping, I highly recommend that you do. Always best to cover yourself for every eventuality.
Me and a buddy of mine have recently each bought a months worth of peak refuel meals and about 2 weeks worth of water (12 gallons) along with electric generators with solar panels we can put on our balconies. We're pretty confident we can go for awhile if we had to bug in during SHTF
Hey Nate 🖐 I feel 'ya! Now I wasn't doing any type of challenge like you, but I DID however share your experience 😲 I live and travel full time in my RV and it justc happened that I stayed at a campground a bit longer than I had originally planned. So, on day 5 I found myself saying, " I swear, I'd kill someone for a salad right about now!!"😜 Turns out frozen veggies and canned fruit just didn't cut it!! I think this is probably the BEST reason to grow some veggies or some fruit because when SHTF, I can now see just how fast this "live food" craving kicks in!!
1 decent size box of PF ran me $500 ouch and that’s like my 3rd box trying to prep it as an extra. Ate a few and they really are way better than other brands. Highly recommend but @ 13.99 to $20 each packet it’s way pricey but to have something delicious that you can take off grid stick in a bag keep for grid down you can’t beat Peak Refuel. The drinks are great too
Sorry what? $20 dollar meals as a prepper? $500 a box? That is literally insane (unless you are a multi-multi millionaire). At that point, you are better off buying your own freeze drying, pasteurizing, and packaging equipment so you can enjoy the home-cooked meals you love. Just do this to your leftovers for the next couple years. Most of us have buckets of rice, lentils/beans, multivitamins, etc I'm pretty sure. When there is no DIY in prepping (just catalog shopping), are you really prepared?
Hey CP, Thanks, it was fun and entertaining. We always like your humor and kids' guest appearances. We watch and appreciate all your content again, Thanks from WV.
I’m a flatbed truck driver in the US, and I practically live off these things. They are small, easy to prep, and don’t take that much room in the cabinets. And thanks to thwart Carlos deficit I run with my job, I’ve lost 15 pounds in the last month.
Finally 😮💨.. A much deserved break from all the normal "😱WE'RE ALL ABOUT TO DIE" updates.. This video is not only refreshing and informative but also funny... Love the channel by the way 👍🏿.
Canadian Prepper, does this mean we need more water than planned if we're gonna live on Peak Refuel? I've found that everything that needs water to reconstitute seems to keep sucking water from the body after you've eaten it or drank it, leaving a dehydrated feeling. This might sound dumb, but would leaving the food to completely suck in the water make sense, so it doesn't need any from the body? Can you try it? If it works, wouldn't it lessen our thirst to the point where the water we've got stored will be enough?
I was wondering what challenge you were alluding to in your other videos. Curious to see if you think there's enough variety to keep you from food fatigue. Eating the same thing day in and day out can wear you down surprisingly quick. You're spot on with the psychological drain effect of crap food over and over. Living off ramen, mac 'n' cheese, tuna and rice only went so far. I still can't look at a box of mac 'n' cheese without feeling queasy.
I lost it when Mr. Nate yelled "I was right!" whilst holding his survival stuff. I know I would too once it all comes down. Regarding that challenge. I haven't tasted any freeze-dried food yet, but I do know how much it sucks surviving via canned and other instant foods. People should value food more
I know right and Peak refuel isn't even the most expensive freeze-dried rations out there the most expensive ones are from that new company that he just recently did an interview for or you can get freeze-dried filet mignon freeze dried Lobster but they're like $60 a pack absolutely nuts
Ive recently been obessed with the mountain house pro packs they tastes bomb so and cost 10 usd on average, however the peak does have more ingrediants in it and is worth the try so ill definitely try a few when i get paid. especially those peak vitamin supplents .GReat video ! ❤
