Reza Korua Typically in Filipino drama, there’s a gay/transgender character who is bound to have a part like this, so it’s pretty conventional to see good feminine acting :)
Some of country in Asia has this kind of culture. In Indonesia we touch the hand by nose or even kiss the hand (it more polite). We did it to our parents or someone who close to us and more older. Like uncle/aunt/friends of our parents (in their age). Even to our older bro/sist we kiss their hand like that. It how we greeting and respect the older. Not by kiss their cheek, some people do this too after kiss the hand. It's modern way to kiss their cheek after the hand.
@@richrich863 hoy tanga pangaralan mo pa eh pag nag-t-type naman kasi hindi kinakailangan na dapat correct spelling or complete parang pag magulang mo naga text "dto n ako" o diba walang i??? tanga ampota.
I don’t live in the Philippines, but knowing that it’s an Asian country, the society can be very conservative towards topics like these but I’m glad Bench kinda broke that barrier. I hope more companies talk about topics like these so that people who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community can feel comfortable in their own skin :)
namJ00n rM oh lol I was born in the Philippines and honestly no one cares if you are gay or not. criticisms on gay barely happen but there are some people who jokes about stuff like that but they are just joking
namJ00n rM bitch what? the CATHOLIC school i go to in the philippines dont care about gay people like legit half of the boys are either gay or bi and the girls are either tomboys or bi and the principal doesnt really care
X Bands Yeah same I went to catholic school called the blessed pedro calungsod and literally everyone treats each other the same wether you are gay or not
Look, when a straight guy is nice to you it usually is because they're nice or because they like the attention they get from you, and not actually because they really do like-like you. It's hard to not to 'fall" for a nice straight dude since not a lot of em would treat you like that.. so yeah be weary and don't fall in love too quickly
Lol its truely rare but *HAPPENING* to me. He always follow me everywhere. Sulking when I dont take the food he is giving. Hugging me from the back. Patting my head. And always getting closer to my face. It's very hard to resist to not fall in love. He has a girlfriend tho. 😭😭😭😭 PS: I'm not out yet. So it's really a bromance ❤ But just one sided 😭
Fredric Marquez my parents are both religious. I thought they would disown me when I came out. Yon pala, amoy na amoy na nila ako noon pa. They were just waiting for me to reveal who I really am. It gets better! Sana, it works out in your favor too!
I came out to my friends and everyone at school first before my family because if I would’ve gotten rejected by them at least I would have friends who I consider family to treat me better but i came out last thanksgiving of 2017 to my family and they took it pretty well even tho they are very religious they said they still love me if this is the way i choose btw i came out to my friends and everyone at school at 14 and i came out to my family at 15 and I’m still 15 today as of 2-28-18 but don’t sweat it man its your fam they’ll come around but once you have all that weight off your shoulders your world will feel like its changing and it gets better from just coming out❤️💖💕💘😊☺️❤️🧡💛💚💙💜❣️💕💘💖💓💓💞💝💝🌈🌈
Amazing dad. Tanggap niya kung ano ang anak niya kahit nilihim ito sa kanya. Dads are the best! As well as Mothers. Let's love and take care of them, while we still can. Salute also to all transgenders, most of them have the kindest heart. A friend like them, always know when are you sad, and always have jams and makes you happy. Some might critic you guys, but, its good to be yourself and not pretending to be someone, you know, you are not.
Because of this commercial I checked out there store online and it's fucking awesome. Not only do their clothes look amazing but everything is super cheap compared to stores here in America. Y'all should check it out, seriously. Lol
u said " ... Also I'm I told my mom I was bi, she's not happy about it😅... " Me : Don't you know that Philippines are slave of GOD..?? They would say "Check Mark 10:6-8 no HOMO allowed, blahblahblah..."
YEEEESSSS! I remember when I was in high school I read in the news that Glee was banned from the Philippines after they displayed the scene with Kurt and Blaine first kiss, and now they're airing this commercial. Way to go!
This vid is on my recommendation just now and when I saw Limer, I feel like watching it. This was 3 years ago pa and now you are one of the HIH cast Limer V. You deserve it!
Nakaka good vibes acceptance is the word. Astig ung mga daddy na marunong mag accept ng anak regardless ng sexual orientation ng anak nila. Great job sa ad producer. Cool mo bench. Bibili na ulit ako sau.
just in case any non-Filipino is watching this, the note that the dad left didn't really say "i know your secret." The literal translation would be "I (can) smell you" which is kind of a clever pun. In colloquial Filipino, when we say we can smell ("amoy") someone we mean our gaydar senses that the person is gay. translating humor is so challenging but props to bench for being such an inclusive brand 💕
Yes japan. But in countrysides of ph where tambays and lasingeros at is a diff story. They'd be bullying gays and stereotyping them to be just cock suckers but actually I see 'em checking out their fellow men too. Lapot ng tingin nila minsan eh.
To be honest, it depends on the community. Some Filipinos still have these opinions that being gay is sinful and that it's just a phase especially among religious communities. But yeah, we are improving on being more LGBT+ friendly.
Habang na nonood ako bigla sumingit yung bench tas parang na engganyo ako so pumunta ako sa mismong channel ng bench at pina nood ko ulit kasi relate ako
this was on my feed but ive never been happier seeing something like this, my heart literally warmed up after a stressful, tiring day :") also refreshing to hear this, since i have many relatives in the philippines (and even though i hear my parents speak visaya everyday)
I really admire the Philippine that people are so open and kind . I wish other places in the world can be accepting as well . Anyways fight for what’s right n always be yourself cuz ain’t no one is telling to do shit
Awesome video, great love from here, I think it’s amazing how asians like Filipinos are able to accept something that’s out of the norm, I wish I could come and meet you amazing Filipinos but I had to live with my Latina Aunt after I was abandoned by my parents, Love from Mexico, Pampanga
😂😂 imagine his dad just driving a few feet away then stops and looks back to see son going from a jock to a sassy one 😂😂😂 Edit:Wtf! he knew?? I was expecting a dramatic discovery 😂
