How long do Brazilian butt lifts last? What is a Brazilian butt lift first? It's when we take fat from one part of your body, put it into the buttock, and it makes the buttock bigger, as well as lifting it a little bit. Cautionary with these sorts of procedure is that if we're gonna use large volumes of fat for the buttock, the fat graft take is variable, has a very high mortality rate, particularly if the fat seeps into the bloodstream, so very, very dangerous potentially. And nobody really knows what the buttock's gonna look like over time. But if I was to take a guess, I would say that the buttock is just gonna get bigger and bigger 'cause that's what typically happens as you get older. So I wouldn't say that it would be a age-defying procedure. I would usually caution people who are thinking about having this procedure to often work on your muscular fitness. So things like squats and things are much better for you to have your muscular buttock, rather than a fully and fatty buttock. But if you're a massive weight loss patient who actually has a very deflated and dropped buttock, the best think to do is to actually have a BGL. So that's a butt graft lift where we go all the way around, tighten up the front and the back, as well as using just a little bit of fat then to create a little bit of volume and shape.
