@3:42 Milk... I recently had an Taiwan Old Tea Oolong, charcoal roasted, light pine wood aroma, didnt finish the brew and for some reason I put some milk inside the cold, halfly filled cup the next morning... and (dont tell the purists;) it tasted!!! :)
Thank you for the video! I always see people say brewing time under 1 minute is best for flavor but then i see other articles that say the best brewing time for “health benefits” is between 3 minutes and 5 minutes… hearing you say you like to brew for one minute gives me peace of mind because i like the flavor around that same brew time as well! Thanks again!
Hi Alice, wonderful explanation. I went to your cozy store yesterday and Claudio was amazing, knowledgeable and professional. I left with some White Dragon Pearl Premium. ✨👍🏽✨
Hi Efrain, thank you so much for stopping by the shop!! We’re glad you enjoyed your visit - we’ll pass your compliments on to Claudio. Enjoy the White Pearl, we hope to see you again soon. 🍵☺️🎉
When we say “one to one”, we’re talking grams to ounces: one gram of tea per one ounce of water. For example in a 4oz teapot, we would use 4g of tea leaves.
People can say I'm doing it wrong. But I let my tea steep for at least 5-minutes. And I don't even really like it until it's been steeped for at least 10.
For brewing teas in the traditional Chinese gongfu method, we recommend using one gram of tea leaves per ounce of water that you use. If you have a six ounce teapot, you would use six grams of tea.
I left my tea bag in my bottle the whole time there's water. I don't taste any difference. I need the real reason why tea should only be brew so many minutes only. One lady said i did it wrong, so I asked what was wrong with leaving the tea bag in my bottle until I finished the drink. She couldn't explain why but just said it's wrong. Unless the tea loses its potentency, why is it wrong to leave the bag in the bottle?
Tea can become bitter and astringent if brewed for too long, but if you enjoy bitterness/astringency then it’s certainly not “wrong”. It’s all about personal preference.
