First, remember Tucker had a Pilots license before he trained as a paraglider pilot. Second, Tucker flew every day there was flyable weather, third, Tucker is systematic in his approach to flying, fourth, Tucker is a pro.

That’s very true. And he learned glider control and swoops on small skydiving parachutes. Flying a paraglider must feel like driving a bus 😂

How long does it take to play a piano like Mozart? Some people can do it after years of practice. Some people will never be able to.

which one will you start with?

Good use of clickbait. Most of us never heard of paramotoring or Scout until Tucker's videos got picked up by the YT algorithm.

Great advice. You didn't mention the point at which you recommend getting familiar with a speed bar.
@mike413
@mike413 5 месяцев назад
To use the speedbar can be overvelming in the beginning. But on the end there it isn´t rocket sience. Just ensure the set-up is porperly done (line length), you connect it right to your system and follow the instruction from you glider. Because each glider is different on speedbar usage. sometimes the gider allows to use speedbar in each postion of the trimmer, sometimes not. Sometimes you are allowed to use brakes sometimes not! This you need to respect! But first of all.... set it up nicely by getting help from experienced pilot. In the... hight is your safety... so, fly high, straight and in calm condition..... then push it slowy..... speed will increase, than release slowly.... thats it. Improvement on how and when to use will de done by getting more familiar with it.

If you fly a reflex glider, push it with no hesitation. Flying speed bar is safer and more fun than without. I will make a video about it. Thanks for the hint.

diky Miro. první mašinu si koupím u tebe. Kam mám jít do školy?

So i started training. My question how hard is it to find areas in europe to fly. And who would be main points of contact in different countries. Would I just try to contact local schools and talk with them?
@SCOUTaviation
@SCOUTaviation 3 месяца назад
We search for local airfields first. And then use Google maps to find suitable meadows

@SCOUTaviation, thank you so much. I also want to thank you for all the information you put out there I know I have watched most of them and will watch the rest. I have learned a lot things about this sport that I didn't even think I needed to know. So again thank you for the reply and all the information you continue to put out.

Buy the training first! The are a ton of second hand motors out there that are great for year one. Its not wise to "save" money by skipping formal training.
