I needed to hear this, im doing the balance your back feldenkrais exercises and it start to slowly workout. I ve been dissociated for almost my whole life. It takes time, there s no quick fix. Thank you for this explanation. It really well illustrates how to work with the nervous system. One of your videos, however, helped me instantly. I had piercing pain in knee and sought help everywhere but nothing helped. One day I found your video and the ear massage. The pain went away almost instantly. Since then I listen and respect deeply to everything you say. You are better than doctors, you know more and you are more open minded. Thank you so much.
There are no hard and fast rules. Some of my clients can only tolerate one to two minutes initially. Everyone’s nervous system is different, but less is generally more in this type of work.
