Possibly one of the best views of a Boeing 747 on it's final farewell flight? Watch as the final Corsair International Boeing 747-400 performs what can only be described as a truly spectacular low approach and go-around prior to its last ever landing at Kemble Cotswold Airport for scrapping, a true sight to behold.
Arriving from Paris Orly as 'Corsair 747', this aircraft also performed a farewell low approach in the French capital prior to its final ever landing. F-GTUI joins two other Corsair Boeing 747's at Kemble that arrived last week, F-HSEA & F-HSUN. Starting it's career at United Airlines in 1992 as N186UA, this aircraft joined Corsair in 2005, before being retired in March 2020 due to the current global problems. It is always sad to see an aircraft be retired, but this video certainly encapsulates what a fantastic and trophy-worthy aircraft the Boeing 747 is.
Following Corsair's retirement of their 3 747's, their fleet now solely consists of one Airbus A330-200 and four Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
I hope you're all staying safe and enjoyed the video.
