Thank you sou much for this! I've been using mine for over a decade and had to unscrew to tune it to a different key. Now everyone can switch to experimental tunings in a few seconds.
So, what is the size of the neodymium magnets you are using? Also, what is the brand of that particular kalimba and what scale is it tuned to? Thanks for sharing.
Hi Brandon, what a great discovery you made! So creative! Well done! :) May I ask, what is the big synthesizer behind you (the one on the left for the viewer)? Thanks a lot! Kind regards from Amsterdam :)
Great idea! I use it for a long time on my jews harp... never thought of my Sansula, because tuning the Sansula goes by shortening the tongues... I thought :-)
Dope bro, I never thought about it... I will try it soon :).. By the way I was hoping to find some tutorial videos for beginners... How to play the sensual.. But havent found something proper jet.. Do you know something? Cheers from Switzerland. Ursin
Dude, just buy a screw driver that can undo the bar (real shitty of them to make it an odd star screw head like that, I'd replace those screws at this point to a regular old phillips head) - then insert other tines, or adjust the tines to different voicing.
