Want the recipe? Check them out here ⤵ Onion Rings Ingredients: - 1 pound of onions - 1 cup of flour - 1/4 tsp o paprika - Salt to taste - 3/4 cup of ice water * - 1 cup of flour - 1 cup of panko bread crumbs - Coconut spray - Dehydrated onion top powder, optional Instructions: 1. Slice off the roots and top off the onions. Peel back a layer of the onion then slice 1 inch rounds. 2. Carefully and gently pop out the onion rings. Set aside. 3. To a bowl, add in 1 cup of flour, salt and paprika. Slowly pour in the ice water until you get a pancake batter like consistency. 4. Next, grab another bowl and add in 1 cup of flour. Grab a third bowl and add in 1 cup of panko bread crumbs 5. Dump your onion rings into the flour and toss them to evenly coat. 6. Shake off any excess flour and give them a little dunk into the batter. 7. Shake off any excess batter and toss them into the panko bread crumbs. 8. Place the battered onion rings onto a wire rack and give them a nice spray of coconut oil. 9. Air fry for 385 for 10 minutes. Give them a quick check and then cook for another 5 minutes. 10. Serve with your favorite condiment. Strawberry Poptart - 1.5 pounds of strawberries - 3 tablespoons of sugar - 1 tablespoon of pectin - 2 cup of flour - 1 stick of butter - 4 - 6 tablespoons of ice water - 1 cup of powdered sugar - 1 tablespoon of dehydrated strawberry powder - 1 lemon - Sprinkles, optional Instructions: 1. Wash and cut the tops off the strawberries. 2. Add the strawberries to a bowl along with the sugar. Toss to evenly coat, cover and let sit overnight. 3. The next morning, mix in the pectin. Add the berries and its juices to a pot and bring to a boil. 4. Mash the strawberries down. Optionally, skim the foam off. 5. Reduce the strawberries until it reduces to about half. Pour into a jar and seal with its lid. Set aside. 6. To a food processor add the flour, salt, and cold butter. Pulse until the largest piece of butter is about the size of a pea. 7. Then slowly stream in the ice water until a dough forms. 8. Remove from the food processor and form into ball. Tightly wrap with plastic wrap and set in the fridge while you make the icing. 9. To a bowl mix together confectioners sugar, dehydrated strawberry powder, and juice of half a lemon. Mix until you have icing! You can use more or less lemon if you need. Set aside. 10. Divide the dough into two and roll out the dough to about 1/8” thick. Cut 4 inch thick strips. 11. Brush the dough with egg wash and spread out some homemade jam. 12. Crimp the sides with a fork to seal, poke holes on the top, and brush with more egg wash. 13. Place them on a parchment lined sheet pan and into freezer for 15 minutes so they are easier to handle. Once they have hardened a bit, brush the bottoms with egg wash. 14. Place in the air fryer at 365F for 7 minutes. Flip them over and fry for another 2-3 minutes until they are evenly brown on the top. 15. Spread on the strawberry frosting and sprinkle on some sprinkles. Let cool then enjoy! Roasted Dolmas - 10-20 sheets of grape leaves -Drizzle of oil - 2 large onions, diced - 2 young garlics or 4-5 cloves of garlic, chopped - 1 pound of ground beef - 1 tablespoons of Garam masala - 1 cup of rice - 1 cup of water - Handful of fresh chopped parsley Instructions: 1. To a large pot of salted boiling water, drop in your grape leaves and boil for 2 minutes. 2. Drain and let sit while you work on your filling. 3. To a large sauté pan on medium heat, drizzle in some oil. 4. Drop in chopped onion and garlic and sweat for about 2 minutes. 5. Add in the ground meat, cook while breaking up the meat into smaller pieces. Season with garam masala and salt. 6. Add in 1 cup of rice and 1 cup of water to deglaze the pan. 7. Bring to a very gentle boil, drop in some chopped parsley, and cook for 20 minutes with the lid on until the rice is tender. 8. Once cooked, let it cool down so it is easier to roll. 9. Grab a grape leaf and spoon on 1 tablespoon of filling. Roll it up and close its sides like youre making a spring roll. 10. Place in the air fryer, spray with some oil, and fry for 375 for 10 minutes. 11. Serve with your favorite yogurt sauce.

Taking the onion tops, dehydrating and then blending to a powder is something I never would have thought of. I suspect loads of other veg can be done this way (eg carrot tops). I always feel inspired by your vids. :)

Yeah, the bits that you normally discard or compost, you can try to salvage as much as possible (like green onion tops in the video or their roots, carrot peel, onion peel, ginger peel and so on), dehydrate them in an oven for several hours and then just blend them into a vegetable seasoning mix. You can put them into all sorts of food.

The last one with the vine leaves is almost Bulgarian-style. Here in the Dobrudja region they prefer them precisely fried or baked, and in Bulgaria almost no one boils them. We call them tinsel "Sarma". Regarding the sauce, yogurt, a little salt, very little, fine sliced or grated cucumber, a little bit of well/fine crushed walnut, vinegar (if we don't have lemon) And yes, they turn out better for me in the air fryer than in the oven or on the stove :)

Someone else's recipe is just a starting point, 1st time follow it to the letter. If it is perfect leave it well alone, or if it's not perfect use it as a guide and tweak it to your own tastes.🙂😋😎❤

I was watching gardening videos, then switched to this one and forgot for a minute that I follow you for cooking and had a mind bending moment. It's late June and you're just - not *still*, but *just* - getting brassicas. I'm going to be out at dawn ripping out all my tomatoes because even with shade cloth it's too hot and they're dying off/breeding pests. I am guessing you live a fair distance from me! Good video. I am now inspired to try onion rings. It occurred to me that my only exposure to onion rings has been fast food garbage, so perhaps I should re-evaluate if I dislike them. PS - kolaches do great in the air fryer. I make in bulk, freeze them, thaw in the evening, and use the air fryer to bake a few each morning. Easiest breakfast ever. Hello from Houston.

Then plant in august/september. So easy. You will hv early harvests of the best green onions in the spring then leave some to bulb. Many will NOT go to seed. Keep up the good work!

So I just made the bread and egg dish for breakfast on a random week day, here are some thoughts: 1. Either the egg was too large or my commercial bread slice too small, but the egg white just went all over the place. Now I understand an additional dimension to using homemade bread so you cat cut it to your liking. 2. My egg was also overcooked in mi Ninja Foodi even though I cooked 3 at a time, so less temperature and less time for me, because the bread was on the brink of burning 😂 3. For my particular air fryer I think it's much more hassle to pull it out and wash it over just doing something similar in a cast iron pan 🍳 .... So the thought is appreciated, but I personally wouldn't cook this one again, although the rest of the recipes seem much more interesting. 😊 Anyway, thanks so much for the video!

I was thinking what if you were to replace the flour with onion leaf powder so you're using less stuff from a grocery store. Doesn't have to be onion powder though

I want to start a small garden for herbs (basil, green onion, mint etc) but I'm not sure where to start 🥺 I live in a small apartment and not completely sure what equipment I need. Does anyone have any tips?

You could try to use plant pots first,It works very well for herbs ,I have basil, thyme, mint ,rosmary, and chives on my balcony. Just make sure the sun isn't burning the leafs😊
