you won't believe me, I as well kept my books on a small basket tray thingy on the window shelf of my room, just one fine sunny day , unexpectedly it rained, that too a cyclone warning was issued, i was on the verge of crying AND TO MY LUCK MY BOOKS WERE ALL DRY AND CLEAN, after few months i realized i gave my books a sunny burn lol, they got darkish brown yellow.

Thank god not alot of books were that wet,and girl make sure to close the windows whenever you leave no matter what as who knows when the rain'll come😭

You should have a bookshelf, that would protect your books too and also it will look good. Keeping them on the floor just doesn't feel right to me.
