Just another fun day of fishin, just being alone by himself.Instead of staying at home like some, looking at Tarp award,s on a shelf..................Look,s like fun time,s to me...............As always,s good luck to you.
Justin, those circle hooks have a high hook up rate. Do you edit out some of the misses, or are they really that efficient? I’m trying to figure out if I want to switch too them.
They definitely have a higher hookup rate than the gamakatsu hooks that I used before. I have started editing out most of the misses though just because the internet trolls pounce every time they see me miss a fish.
I will try to remember to video that in a future video. The main thing is to not cast the long sinkers. It’s best to just drop them down while under power so your leader doesn’t wrapped around the sinker.
Historically, I have always done better in the afternoon/evening hours. Not sure if it is because of the time of day or because that is when TVA is usually generating the most current here.
Aint that how it always works? You give a little fish a ton of slack and stays on but if you give that big fish a little tiny bit of slack and it comes off.
How do you feel about these guys hoop netting and trot lining catfish out of the rivers for the paylakes...im from ohio and i know alot of the fish these guys get are from down south
It is frustrating. Tennessee recently passed a law prohibiting the transport of live fish to try to stop that nonsense but unless they come up with a plan to enforce it, I doubt it will do much good.
