Spidey uses sound waves to weaken vemon so he can strip eddie brock from the symbiote. At the given opportunity, Spidey grabs the pumpkin bomb from Harry's glider board and throws it to the symbiote. Eddie, however, didn't like the idea of killing the symbiote. So, at a desperate attempt to reunite with the symbiote, Eddie gets blown up along with the symbiote, killing both of them at the same time. Apparently, depending on what universe or comics of Spiderman they're asking, Spidey hasnt really killed anyone intentionally.
