Soarin Around the World at Disneyland makes zero sense. Just another head scratcher on a long list of questionable decision making that Disney has made over the years.
Molly in my home park is just- *chef's kiss*. And like she says- Disneyland is just a different kind of magical than the Magic Kingdom in WDW. Nothing is quite like it.
I've always been sad I couldn't get to disneyworld easily, but being closer to Disneyland is starting to really sound like a great thing! What a great vibe this park has!
Been to WDW six times from 1996-2016 and love it, but found I enjoyed Disneyland more when we visited three years ago. It was more relaxed, more charming, and easier to get around, and there’s almost as much to do packed in two parks as there is at 4 in WDW. We stayed at Disneyland Hotel and really liked having a short walk to Downtown Disney and both parks. There was also no humidity. When the temps got into the upper 80s, we noticed some cast members talking about how hot it was (in a good-natured way of course). Being from the Midwest, I just empathetically smiled and said “yeah” while thinking to myself, “I’d take this all summer!” Another thing we noticed late in the trip by its absence - we never once had to walk around a group of people in the middle of a walkway looking at a map. All the guests know where they’re going. Still, there are things we love about WDW that you can’t get in CA, especially Epcot, so we’ll try to keep visiting both US parks (until we get around to going to Tokyo!)
I love a long Molly challenge, especially when I get to hear her giggle on the rides! I hope someday I’m on a ride and hear that sound and know I am in good company
Some of my favourite memories are from Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi's Rollicking Roasters with my mom. Watching her cry laughing on the rides and look like a kid again bring me so much joy (first time we rode them I was 18).
In the vein of "rags/commoner" clothing appearance for the Princesses, Rapunzel and Flynn in their wedding clothes (yes short hair Raps!) would be so cool
I feel like the creepy toybox music that the editor put over the Pinocchio ride made it that much more of a nightmare 😅 You are 100% right about that Chimichanga, simple yet satisfying! Oh my gosh, I didn't realize the canoes had skipper jokes like Jungle Cruise! I'm probably the only person in the world that's not a huge fan of Webslingers. It's good, but not something I do on every trip to DCA. I wonder when/if they're going to change Jumpin' Jellyfish and Silly Symphony over to some type of Pixar attraction? Totally agree with you on Mater's Junkyard Jamboree! Swings you so much harder and faster than Alien Swirling Saucers! I was so, so happy when DCA decided to bring back the original Soarin' for a brief time. My dad was able to ride this one time and was in complete awe of it! Unfortunately he passed away but when I get the chance to see the original version, I always think of him and the jet scene (his fav scene) and wish he was riding it with me. 37:59 such a mood haha! I CACKLED at the "SuperStar Limo the Remix" comment LOL! I need a 20 minute compilation video of you just giggling like that would be the ultimate! I was there Monday and Tuesday of that week. My wife and daughter had never been but I grew up in California before moving to east coast. I think disneyland/ CA Blow disneyworld away. Would have been epic to have seen you. Love your disney content
Disneyland was the park I grew up with (California native) so I am loving this Disneyland content! I really appreciate you highlighting the different vibe in DL - I love WDW as well but I do miss that relaxed, home-y feel you get in DL and I’ve never heard anyone mention it before!
I chaperoned my sisters jr high field trip to Disneyland. 13 teenagers and me. We were the only group to go on every ride, eat lunch, and see the fireworks that day. One of the best trips! This was also 5+ years ago before Genie+. My group was also the only ones to all pass out on the bus back
Hi Molly! I love your laugh and enthusiasm! For fun… try doing Fantasy Land between 11 and 12PM. We can usually get on all the rides in an hour! Most young children have gone home SO it’s much less crowded. Sometimes we get on either Snow White or Peter Pan just before 12:00 if the lines are really long! Keep doing what you are doing. You’re the BEST!
Molly!! Next time you’re in DCA go to cars land around sunset, they turn on the neons and play the same song from the movie, it’s magic😍 the time depends every day so ask the CMs at Luigis and they can give the specific time

I like to call Matterhorn the "Widow Maker". There are certain parts of that ride that are straight up terrifying and you feel like the sleds are going to fly off the track. Two-three times your butt is off the seat and you're airborne for a few seconds. The guy sitting behind me had a white knuckle grip on the handle and after the ride was over he said "that ride is for kids?!". Lol
For sure they should cover it! albeit, there are only 3 and from experience, they have wayyyy less to offer than WDW. I def don't ever recommend staying at paradise pier. Disneyland Hotel is cute and has a nice pool and the cool Trader Sam's bar (anyone can go to this tiki bar though). The location is actually no closer than the hotels across the street, they're usually closer actually. I heard amazing things about Grand Californian but it is deluxe prices. You can go inside it though and check it out as a non-hotel guest. :)
I’m at Disneyland this week and I saw the notification for this video. I did the Disneyland Park part of your day today - rope dropped the rides in Fantasyland plus Jungle cruise and Pooh that don’t have lightening lanes. Like you, I ended up with a multiple selection pass because Indie went down during my LL window. I was able to get another one for Indie later in the day so I used the bonus LL at Storybook Canal Boats because I hadn’t ridden it in the morning before the line got too long. I felt like I was following along in your footsteps when I watched your video. PS I’m sorry I missed Soarin over California. I had not seen the new one before and I do like it. I also love the Guardian version at least as well as the OG Tower of Terror. I also got to ride the HyperSpace Mountain which is awesome! Thanks for all your videos but this one was particularly timely!

The Pinocchio in Paris is less scary. Still scary, but a little less so. :D I love Matterhorn, Indiana and Alice in Wonderland! Disneyland has such great unique rides. Rodger Rabbit! That chimichanga looks delicious! The canoes look awesome! Glad you can be objective. Now stop being a baby! LOL
I just visited Disneyland for the first time in April and had a wonderful time. I loved Thunder Mountain there.Theming is so much better! Cars Land is so so cool! Why oh Why is it not here in Florida!? There are definitely things I like better at each park. The Quick Service is soooo much better at Disneyland. Come on World get it together! Fantasyland ❤️. I literally cracked up at you on the Water Ride! I hate getting wet so I feel your pain! We missed the night time shows by a couple of days and I’m so sad we did. Definitely will be going back someday.
The canoes are one of my favorites, also I loved Tom Sawyer's island as a kid, there are some other great non ride things to explore like the wilderness playground in DCA too!
Great video Molly! I am so impressed with your 16 hours in Disneyland and DCA and all the rides you did. I went recently and my co-vacationers needed long rests in the afternoon. I am now inspired to spend a day entirely alone to see if I can do 16 hours straight! Love your water ride face! It’s exactly like mine! Having ridden aliens and Mater's, I definitely agree! I LOVE when they do throwbacks for Soarin' over CA! I wish they would refilm it and keep it CA which makes way more sense to me
Molly would you ever consider doing a video showing the different cars on rides all over the parks ? I'm 6"2 and I am always worried about my knees. Sorry if you've done this you've got a lot of great videos to get through. Thanks for keeping us up to date ✨️
Mater’s definitely goes faster than Alien Swirling Saucers! I went on Mater’s before Alien opened at WDW and was kind of disappointed when Alien didn’t have the same “zippiness” that Mater’s did!

I will say a nice thing for jumpin jellyfish. My daughter made the brilliant choice to ride at night and on the backside looking over the water/pier. It was beautiful. Just trying to say something nice 😅 also, I knew as soon as you said Mr. Toad's we were having a Molly and friends moment as Duckfist does MOST CERTAINLY live there 😅😅
Molly you need to get some pull on rain pants to match your poncho! I’m with you and do not like walking around with wet pants!! Definitely grabbing some for next trip!

I went to Disneyland for the first time this year with my cousin. She hadn't been on Thunder Mountain in either park, so I was pointing out the similarities. I saw the goat and I said, "We have the goat too...wait...is that dynamite in his mouth?!" When we entered the dynamite tunnel I said, "We definitely don't have this!" It was a great time!
Molly you should come to the Minnesota State Fair. Aka as the Great MInnesota Get Together. Cheese on stick, cheese curds, fresh cheese sticks in the dairy building, cheese bread and more.
Grizzly river run is a really fun ride and you’re right your butt is always wet when you get off of it. My kids were like oh my gosh I’m soaked what do I do. Fortunately we were staying at the grand California!
