Imagine subscribing to every channel on RU-vid WITH NOTIFICATIONS... You'd never get a break from notifications saying things like "coke man uploaded a new video!"
I am subscribed to more almost one thousand people and I used to have notifications on on many of them YT simply didn’t send me all of the notifications :,)
Imaxed out at 2000 subscriptions 2 years ago and for some reason they started allowing me to subscribe again to more channels I checked my RU-vid subscription folder once a day and it takes me an hour just to scroll through every video I got in a 24-hour period I don't keep my notifications on because it's constantly interrupting things I'm doing especially when I do a lot of screen recording so I can't have all the interruptions so I don't have plus you can actually go into your settings and change your notifications to either notify you when the videos uploaded or you can get all notifications in one batch at one time and you can schedule it for whatever time of day you want
@@WVgrl59 I wonder if they would ever say you can’t subscribe to anymore or they just let you go and keep pushing out subscribers as you’re adding new ones and you never know that you’re losing subs
Now this is an interesting video for me. I actually reached the 2,000 subscription limit quite a few months ago on one of my channels, but my limit seems to have been increased, I guess because I have gained subscribers on this account.
@@C4Oc. I have not, though I can say that my subscriptions tab is littered with videos uploaded every few minutes, and there are always many channels that are live.
I'm pretty sure I hit the 2,000 subscription limit and RU-vid has been unsubscribing me from my earlier subscribed channels whenever I add a new subscription. Because the channels I first subscribed to I am no longer and I don't unsubscribe
I maxed out at 2000 only because when I tried to subscribe to new channels RU-vid said that I reached the maximum number of allowed subscriptions. So I looked into all my subscriptions for any accounts that were deleted and RU-vid let's you unsubscribe from deleted accounts. Which they should have unsubbed me when the account was closed but I managed to find half of a dozen accounts that were not available or were completely videoless that I unsubbed. So I created a second account in order to subscribe since I was only able to unsub about 5 or 6 channels but sometimes I forget to use the second account to add new subscriptions and lately I have been constantly subscribing to half a dozen new channels a day for the past 6 months and I have yet to receive a response saying that I maxed out my subscriptions again so I think either RU-vid changed the maximum number of allowed subscriptions or somehow I earned the opportunity for more subscriptions
What's crazy is I am the type of person that subs to everyone as soon as I click on your video. If I don't like what I see, I don't unsubsidized,I I just turn the notifications off. If I don't agree with you doesn't mean I'm going to stop you from getting your money. So now you're telling me that I'm missing the things I really want to see because of my kindness. I've had to resubscribe to so many channels over the last few years...even those that I watch daily! While I am here is there a limit to what you save to watch for later? I'm not to lose it 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
At this point, I’m not even surprised with RU-vid, Seriously, some channels shouldn’t be allowed to exist, yet they do, (18+) Yet some videos just randomly get demonitized... (for children)
I subbed to 1000 people by last year, and even though i sub to people quite literally every day, it won't show past 1k. My theory is that it unsubs you from a channel for every one you sub to, but it could just not show the number accurately and says 1000 when im subbed to more than that. I wish there was an easier way to access your channel statistics so maybe they'll add better features in the future.
@@mountainplatypus8754 it does unsub you from certain channels past 1k because i clicked on a video from someone i was subbed to and it displayed that i wasnt subbed to them anymore
How can one person handle 1,000 individuals at once? It's impossible. A human brain can only handle up to 150 relationships at once. According to the study of Dunbar's Number.
@@mountainplatypus8754 Was looking for a comment like this. I had the same problem and it definitely unsubscribed me from other channels that i haven't watched as much as of recent. Now the number of subscriptions is gone and i'm scared that it still does what it did before but there is no way for me to check anymore. I also might add when i had premium in 2021 or so it did let me get past 1,000 subscribers.
I have subscribed to every channel I find relevant, and now I can’t anymore. RU-vid gives me an error saying:”there was an error subscribing to this channel” and if I unsubscribe from a channel and subscribe another one then it will allow me too.I have subscribed to more then 500 channels about football, cricket and gaming etc and I can’t anymore 😅
I got off limit of 2000 subscription and it gives me error like "you have too many subscriptions compared to your number of subscribers" but, i still can subscribe 3 channels/day...last few days a i see a strange thing happened to me like my old subscribed channels got automatically unsubscribed when i checked their channel..idk what is this bug or their limit?
I wonder how many notifications will pop out on my screen plus you also do that on other platforms as well, great for those who want to start a notification farm.
Last time I looked, I subscribed to 500 or so channels. Today, I have only 90, without 'unsubscribing' to any of the 500+, so YT is definitely deleting subscriptions. At least this happened to my subscription list.
Lets say it takes you 5 secs to subscribe to a channel? You know clicking on the button and going to the next channel? So it will take you around : ~ 6,500,000,000 secs ~ 108,333,333 mins ~ 1,805,555 hours ~ 75,231 days ~ 10,747 weeks ~ 2,686 months ~ 223 years Even if you are immortal, 1,300,000,000 more channels will pop up in 223 years
I happened to subscribe to every channel that I liked its content, but RU-vid says "too many subscribers against your subcount". And to increase that you need to get more people subscribed to yours. That's a bull💩ty thingy.
I guess Timeworks subscribed to this channel and my Clips channel because I checked and yesterday Clips had 17 and this one had 312 and today Clips has 18 and this channel has 313.
So I plugged all of my subscriptions into an Excel sheet, did a few functions, and found out that I am subscribed to 3,541 channels at the moment! Holy cow! LOL And of course as you can see, I'm not a channel that uploads anything, so I have 0 subs, but I started this account when I created this email, on Jan 17, 2015, so 9.5 years ago. I guess the amount of time you've had the account really does matter!
I seen a channel posting like 2 times a second and everytime i reloaded there was more, it went from 17k to 18k so fast, I checked a few days after and it had 31k lmao
I don't even know how many subs I have, but I may be maxed out. I click subscribe and it says 'added' and the button shows subscribed but upon refreshing I am still not subscrib ed. This is for dozens of channels for days now.
either youtube is deleting my subscribe channels, or that number is just glitched cause Im subscribing to more channels but the number doesnt change and it still shows the channel I subscribed to there. so i think the limit is only on the number that shows how many channels youve subbed to
I've been paying for RU-vid premium for nearly a decade. I only have 81 subscribers so far. (I wouldn't hate if that number could go up.) But that's not my point. I've been looking at videos and checking whether or not I'm subscribed to the channel. Sometimes I'm sure I subscribed, and never unsubscribed. Weird. Sometimes the proof is when i subscribe again the bell is turned on to "All" which is not the default by any means. I'm still trying to figure out how many channels I'm subscribed to. I am kind of generous if they do a good job I throw them my subscribe. I have no money to throw at them. My subscription is a modest gift but one that i can afford to give.
I also had a account in which i had subed more than a 1000 people but it always showed 989+11 that are down that account was deleted cuz the hard disk was changed
I wish I could pay to be able to subscribe to more channels. Mine is capped off at 1,000 subscriptions, and I know I've subscribed to way more than that, So upsetting.
well, that's helpful. the llimit is 2,000 channels, but what is NOT helpful is youtube not placing your "subscribed-to" count. like, how am i supposed to know how many channels i'm subscribed to? there's no counter anywhere.
What if every YT channel had a 150 Subscriber/Subscription limit? And followed Dunbar's Number? As a human brain can only have up to 150 friends? How'd YT have been like? And how different it would've been?
i subscribed to 1000~ people not doing it on purpose, i just subscribed to anyone that made content that i liked, i once even cleared up from 300subscribed to 100subscribed, never cleared it up since
Well but even so the limit has in the past at least had something to do with the number of subs a channel gets too!!! I would say for 40 sub channels it might be close to 1K channels subbed.
only here because i haven't been able to subscribe to anyone in like the last 2 weeks. guessing i reached some subscribe limit.i feel like it's somewhere around 1k
