I laughed when the nurse pulled Matthew's arm down when she was taking his vitals. I'm a nurse myself. You just don't have time for nonsense, even if your patient IS Matthew Gray Gubler.

I first didn't want to watch this, because I don't want to see my baby getting hurt. It's still painful to watch, but it's kinda funny too. Gosh, Matthew must have a very high tolerance for pain. He just laughs and didn't go straight to the hospital before Joseph suggested to. Btw, love his mismatched socks, and yeah, he has nice legs.

The fact that Matthew was hanging with Joseph Gordon-Levitt when this happened is mind-blowing. The story that he actually messed up his knee while in a dance battle is hilarious enough, but having JGL of all people (one of my favorite actors) be there and act as the voice of reason (''I think we should go to the emergency room'') is just... amazing.

Haha he Didn't just dislocate his knee, he shattered it. that is why on criminal minds he was in a cast for so long.the reason it looks like he kept going afterwords is because it is shot out of sequence. Poor Matthew :(

That would have been a dream hanging out with all those guys! And I feel so bad for Matt!! He seemed like quite the trooper, though, still going to another bar before heading to the emergency room!

It wasn't out of sequence, they actually didn't go to the hospital right after that cause Matthew said they came straight here but made that hushing don't tell them the truth sign afterwards.

Good they have a video recording of how Matthew completely screwed his knee. He busted his knee while dancing, and proceeded to go to a bar and got drunk more and then because obviously it wasn't just a sprain then he went to ER. The fact that his knee was so screwed up that it needed extensive surgical correction and doctors wasn't even sure that he'd ever be able to walk on that, had them doubted that what he did was dancing. Such a crazy guy. That's a part of his charm.

I feel so bad for him! I've also dislocated my knee and I know from experience it is very, very painful! I love how he is still very funny even though he is injured.

i read that this happened on wikipedia, at first i laughed because of how random it was, but i remembered that it was matthew who it happened to so it wasn’t that much of a surprise. also he must have such a high pain tolerance in order to just laugh and go to another bar before even thinking of going to the hospital.

I knew that, I was wondering if it was because of this incident, that he had to get shot in the leg, thus use a cane for a few of the episodes. Because I noticed in the episode that he was sitting down for most of it, and that the same knee he dislocated, is also the knee he got shot in =)

I do. I laugh in pain, and when I see and get shots. Just seeing a needle makes me laugh. It's a nervous reaction.

A few months ago I was in my Spanish class and my teacher wanted to yeah us a Latin dance and when I went to spin my leg didn't turn with me, my leg locked up and my knee cap popped out of place and back in it felt like fire in my knee .. I'm still taking physical therapy for it.

Something similar happened when i broke my collar bone, we were too busy goofing over the bone sticking up but not breaking through my skin to get to the ER lmao. I remember laughing the whole ride there because I broke it by falling and landing on my shoulder and I thought it was dumb. I was in more pain when they set the bone than when I broke it, that part sucked the worst

I dislocated and broke my knee at school, was rushed to the er, and had to be in a wheelchair but this man really just went to another bar 🥲😂 I mean I was also being dramatic bc i was on my period lmao, but that shiz hurt and recovery was terrible so i give props to him bc he still worked after, and i couldn’t go back into school for months (i’m also just a very weak human so)
