I still find it mind blowing that they are kids my age, two friends, talking about their last race while on sim racing, just like they would if it was a game, except it's Formula 1, pinnacle of motorsport.
Instead of the usual “see you next weekend” it’s “see you at Monza” to race in Formula 1 lol imagine being so casual about having one of the most prestigious seats on the planet.
Even jobs like this become linear, and fairly expected. Its when things dont go to plan is the interesting parts. Not many people seem to realise this lol
I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but I don't see what's is funny about it. It surely is great to see, and it's not uncommon for F1 drivers that are not in the same team to be friends.
@@danielde7542 Yeah, but few are voluntarily engaging with the audience as much as they do. The latest generation of drivers in F1 have been refreshing to say the least.
I love the fact that two really respected drivers from separate teams are just such good friends and get to race in the virtual world and do streams. This is the best time in Formula 1.

Some make fun of the 'VIRTUAL WORLD' but boy do we have fun in there ....much more than watching the real world.... and these guys are part of a NEW generation....good on them !

Like lose/loose f.ex. In my own language we don't have to deal with this shit since we write everything the same way we say it.

@@Howtohandlemebaby8173 in a 24 hour endurance race you can go back to the pits and repair your car if needed. In this case the car was not damaged, so that time loss doesnt occur but you do lose a few minutes of race time to get towed back. This can be done in all WEC events, so that a minor incident in the first hour doesnt take you out of the race unnecessarily
@@Qwerty-ry9qg yeah they were freaking out about whether lando could get going again before they were passed by the second place team. there was even a 30 second driver swap timer they didn't account for.
I like seeing those 2 together but hope they're not gonna be teammates, it probably can ruin their friendship, coz the competition with your teammates is more intense i guess
Yeah. Only If that was a right kink and not a full haripin that max line would have worked.... Kimi was already having an aggressive angle into the corner and he had to make it tight to the apex to get a somewhat good exit. And max did an online noob turn one move on him....
the contact was kimi's fault though. he's in between the wall and kimi's car, both under full brakes so he can't back out of the move and has nowhere to go. the only chance they have to get through safely is if kimi gives a car's width on the inside like a responsible race driver. classic 'you can't win on lap 1 but you can lose' move by kimi. just give the position and fight for it later.

Max repeating the 2016 mistake... :-) Fortunately, he is REALLY good the last couple of seasons (unlike the HORRENDOUS 2016 where he fucked up like all the time), so no worries.

the difference between Daniel Ric and Verstappen is that, Ricciardo know how good his brake and his steering. meanwhile Verstappen is still doubt about the brake
