Rare to find this kind of mindset in today's competitive world where businesses cooperating with each other to keep going. And the pricing is kept just right as well. Thank you for staying noble.
I think that's because these people are hardworking artisans first and not businessmen. Which is a good thing. Though i wish they could afford a better standard of living.
@@Nostalgia_Addictyeah, that is the difference. :)) They are true artisans so they value and love their work. The interviewee even said that they wanna keep working and just keeps the prices right. I love how they all work together as one industry instead of competing. They value their craft first and foremost. 💕
Exactly, i have one of these vase in our storage room, Which was in my home from the time of my grandmother. Its collecting dust now. I put it there bcs it wasn't matching the modern ambiance of my remodeled home. I had no idea this was so expensive and rare 🥺
The retailer purchases the raw materials, equipment, and is left with the overhead. The artisans always get paid but the business owner might not if nobody is buying. It's the owner who will lose everything if the business fails.
If you go into their website, the pieces actually aren’t expensive . They are selling a clock with beautiful work for $8 US dollars. That’s just one example.
I've a couple of them at my home. Someone gave them as a gift to my father. They are atleast 12-13 years old and looks absolutely new. But I didn't know about the hard work it takes to create such a beautiful stuff. Thank you Business Insider for making this video. I hope they'll get proper recognition through this video.

@@Cienfuegos. as an art student I still don’t really care about abstract art. sure the artists’ thoughts/ideation of the artwork is interesting but I don’t see the deal about the actual piece itself
If you're sad seeing these beautiful traditions dying, understand your participation to the declination. In simple terms, industrialization is the short answer to this. Try buying from local people, artists or small scale businesses. They might be a bit expensive than your industrial produce, but it saves these old traditions. Don't hesitate and go ahead ,buy from small scale artisans and workers everytime you can.
I don't particularly feel bad. Thier art flourished itself by ending some other form, it about time and technology. A buyer cannot be emotionally black mailed just to keep an industry alive. That won't cut it for long either, innovation and market competition is the only way.
@@jayeshnathani6929 You know I always find morons like you here on RU-vid. I mean, giving a proper reply to you will be an insult to my intelligence. Also, If someone is gay then they are gay. @@jayeshnathani6929 dude you need to stfu up like it’s kind, but not everyone is going to do it. Pure kindness will not save an industry, they need to play it smarter.

It's another part of humanity but taking about that to someone so small and short minded as you will always be a waste of time breath and everything.
I live closeby to this place. I have conducted a study during my college for its revival but sadly my findings have only found that it's nearly impossible to sustain this practice once these artisans leave it. With short attention spans, their children are really reluctant to take up the craft. But thankfully, I have bought a few pieces which now adorn my room. All my guests ask about them, but buys it as they find it expensive.

This is a problem everywhere, sadly. To paraphrase an uncle of mine, if you want to learn about a country, you have to use a news source not hosted in that country.
No, it won't. It would create a certain hype for some time but after that they would be forgotten, like many social media trends. What they need is a sustainable business infrastructure from Raw materials to market and final price. The real solution would be turning this informal industry into a formal one, which is hard but only real solution.
I would love to own some of these pieces. I like when things are hand made. Every detail has a story. Even the mistakes are pretty somehow. But when I buy some machine made products I can't stand having even a tiny part of it being imperfect.

"that like processed lime has a magnetic effecton the soil" ummm no. Most of the stuff thrown around about the properties of Bidar soil are purely myths with no scientific basis. The soils is primarily just calcium hydroxide and clay they then mix it with ammonium chloride (not aluminium trichloride as stated in the video). Really the effect is just the reaction from the limestone and ammonium chloride when its heated to 200c.
I’m 100% aware that industrial revolution was absolutely amazing for mankind but it makes me sad that how many amazing and ancient art forms are being lost
I mean, couldnt they make it using industrial process more efficiently and market it to a wider audience? They could analyze the chemicals in the soil and create an artificial chemical. They could use alternatives for zinc with some alloys that are easier to work with but produces the same effect. Also, using more efficient techniques for putting the silver, drawing more elaborate designs using computers and printing it like what we do with paper, more efficient metallurgical process and computer generated molding etc would make it at least half as cheap as it is today and will also increase customers...
@@CoolMan-ig1ol The problem with trying to make artificial methods is that you can't add time, nor minute elements that are essential to the process. The dirt itself might be releasing certain chemicals at certain rates that affect the staining the the metal, and that's something you also have to account for. There is a maturity and complex nature about soil/dirt, let alone comparing other natural objects vs synthetic/simulated ones. There are other videos on this channel that you watch, and over time you start to understand the base concepts of why certain processes, procedures, ingredients, and sourcing are so damn important. Take the curling rock episode. You can only get the granite from one island in one area. You can't simulate it. Other times it's plants and animals that need extremely specific environments to thrive or to develop. Some things you just can't break down into elemental forms.
This video seems to give some new customers for them: "Dear Customer, Due to the immense amount of order we are receiving, The Process of Processing the Order have Increased Exponentially due to which there is a slight delay in processing of the orders."

Iranians who invented this art are still doing it and they make amazing masterpieces. They also have different versions of it. The Indian side can learn to use calligraphy and using religious texts too. That creates its own market.

How many maids wear gloves while cleaning the house, toilet or doing dishes? How many workers at the construction site follow the safety protocols and have full gear? How many mechanics use gloves or earmuffs? These are just few examples there are many more!

Guys, in order to develop abilities, protect yourself from other people's energies, the devil and eye hallucinations, you need to train your body physically like crossfit with work on boxing bags, then bad energies and black dust from bionanorobots (sometimes transparent, but it is still visible as distortions in the air with the feeling of a transparent gel around in space) will not be able to cling to your body and nerves of the eyes and you will not see and feel pain, you need to train all muscle groups so that there are no weak spots and mentally imagine how you tear apart the pain and the picture in front of your eyes with your hands, also imagine how this dust burns up turning into emptiness in this way, you mentally destroy this shit this is the beginning of super strength, exercising and fantasizing, you can develop other superpowers in yourself, but for each person individually, it will be easier to get some kind of strength (The principle of work is in the transformation of physical strength into mental strength). Also, minimize the amount of food, it is best to eat rice cooked in water like the Shaolin monks, hunger and a minimum of different flavors, you will redirect the energy from the digestion of food by the stomach to the strength you want! Another tip is to eat lemons or citric acid - (0.5-1 spoon / l dry with at least 3 cups of water, it's easier to drink and a large amount of water will reduce the overall acidity - my record is 5 spoon / citric acid per day) this will speed up your metabolism and protect against poisons, spoiled food and metal salts, if you have any questions, ask!
