I'd liked to have seen more of the furnace working. They appear to have slag running out the hole where the metal comes from, whilst the section where the slag should come from remained unused. The guy making the moulds had an impressive way of making them.

They will improve. They have taken materials of little value and have turned it to a commercially viable product. They are creating wealth. Industry and capitalism are how people lift themselves from poverty. It worked for us, Britain, Japan, and is working for China.

They will never improve. No knowledge of alloy content or carbon. No way to test the metallurgy of their product. To them, steel is steel and aluminum is aluminum.

For clothing irons. There is another video where they finish the base plates (which is what these are) and assemble the iron.
