The only thing that I found about Jessi's "hostility" towards Jimin was a video of them on Unpretty Rapstar and Jessi was basically calling the show out for favouritism when Jimin's team won over someone else. She never went for Jimin's character or anything like that but somehow years later after the clip was released, people are retroactively saying that Jessi was taking a jab at her and "sensed" that she was a bad person from the beginning...

I specifically want to point out to that "hair salon" part. You're right. As someone who's always in control of short-tempered strict and manipulative parents who constantly use emotional abuse, that's correct. When you're afraid of someone, the last thing you would want to do is anger them on purpose. You're supposed to be seen like walking on egg shells and be careful at every one of their movements. No one who's scared of someone tries to go against them or have courage to do that on purpose. What Mina did didn't make sense to me, personally. She was trying to anger Jimin and her members on purpose and twist the ACTUAL situation and use it for her own defense and benefit. This entire case is such a mess oh god.

In one of her recent lives, she spoke about the worse thing Seolhyun did and her answer was about how Seolhyun’s dog pooped himself in the dorm when she brought him over and it smelled. Like.. they don’t even live in the same dorm. They have 2 dorms, Mina shared a dorm with Hyejeong and Jimin while Seolhyun shared a dorm with Yuna, Choa and Chanmi. Seolhyun got her dog in the end of 2016 and she moved out in 2017 to live with her sister after Choa left the group. She said she wanted an apology from Seolhyun for this. The fact that this is the worse thing she can think of makes me 😭😭
Are we also going to ignore the amount of celebrities that are still supporting Seolhyun? So many celebrities are still liking her photo and Taeyeon even commented on her Instagram when she returned. Even Peniel, who is Mina’s close friend, is still liking every single one of Seolhyun’s recent photos and he hasn’t even liked any of mina’s recent ones. For anyone pitying Jimin. Gosh, you are all horrible. Bullies must receive death penalty if I am to decide. It is not easy to fOrGivE, foRgEt, and LeArN at all after being psychologically abused. The bullying does not only affect a part of someone's life but it affects a person's lifetime. And the damage does not heal with a simple forgiving because that is so unfair. Imagine your bully having fun bullying you, and still in the future she is happy and successful. While the bullied one suffered and continues to suffer throughout his or her life.
Something else I just realized is that a lot of companies would blame the leaders for a mistake, even if they themselves weren’t the one to make it. Such as a dancing mistake: it would be taken to the leader and the leader of the group would get scolded or get a punishment. This was talked about on a show showing the dark sides of Kpop (I don’t remember which group it was, but I do remember it was a female group) and it openly showed this on camera as well. Jimin was most likely not a bully, but strict and “bossy” because Mina would not take her job seriously and wouldn’t show up to practice or rehearsals and barely practiced singing. Jimin most likely got the blame when it was Mina’s fault. Plus, Mina is very sensitive and uses the minor inconvenience to make a fuss out of it, which she most likely used Jimin’s “leader” and “strict” role and personality and took it as “bullying.”
After watching kdrama "Imitation" i really believe this is happening. In the drama, whenever some member did something bad, the leader or the manager will be scolded by the staff. Not that particular member. If i'm being scolded for things i didn't do i will be extremely mad too

Most recently her texts with the boyfriend revealed she actually did go see her father pass. ✔️She said that only jimin missed work when jimin’s dad died ➡️ lies. Schedule confirms that Mina’s schedule was cleared, 27 out of 33 schedules. ✔️She said that chanmi and seolhyun said they don’t care what happens, or do what about the good times etc. after the scandal ➡️ later in her kakao it turns out that those words were said during Te contract renewal period, NOT after the jimin scandal. ✔️ mina said jimin yelled at her for not practicing her vocals ➡️ Mina herself said she only had vocal lessons 3 times her whole life ✔️She hurt herself and took sleeping pills because she was afraid jimin would yell at her ➡️ the reason? It turned out that the allegations were false, that the member lied and was actually the one being the bully, refusing to practice and having a bad attitude in general. You should check the video of their first win since the bullying, that happened 5 years after the allegations came out, the girls are crying the entire time, it really showed how this scandal impacted them in general (their career, having no wins / support for the public for 5 years, but also mentally). It all seems complicated to fans rn, there’s not really enough information to make any assumptions yet. Hopefully this gets resolved soon and all the members of AOA (especially those in the bullying rumors) get some peace of mind finally.

I was always sceptical from the start. After T-ARA I learnt that everybody should take a backseat when it comes to accusations and wait it out. I'm so sorry for Jimin and the rest of AoA. Clearly, Mina is a masterful manipulator who has some deeply held misogynistic values and has held a deep, deep grudge against her ex-colleagues. I feel so bad for AoA, I hope Jimin sues her for defamation, threats, and sexual assault. I hope the rest of the girls can gain back some public support and I support them in whatever they decide to do, either staying in retirement or coming back into showbiz.

I think people forget that in kpop groups the leaders take responsibility for the member's actions, so if a member acts out the company scolds the leader, this adds stress to the leader especially if the members keep acting out and the leader keeps getting the punishment.

I hate how people handled this bullying issue. When it came out, people never took time to actually look through things. They just posted videos of Jimin ignoring Mina or not taking any of her BS and that is basically the strongest “evidence” that they have. Just because someone doesn’t like you doesn’t mean they are bullying you. If I am a leader, I would’ve hated any lazy ass who’s dragging the group down too. Maybe Jimin just doesn’t have the energy to fake liking Mina anymore so she just ignored her instead of trying to pretend to be close with her. I’m not saying that the issue Mina dealt with and is dealing with isn’t true, but I want people to know that those who are suffering from a mental health issue tend to see their situation worse than it actually is. It might be because she is overthinking Jimin’s way of disciplining her as the leader of the group. She thinks that being reprimanded equates to being bullied. In this case, it’s not Jimin’s fault nor is it Mina’s. However, the conscious decision to destroy someone’s life and actively make up lie about them is an issue. People with mental illness can be toxic too and you should stop acting like all of the shit they do are excused simply because they are not stable. Mental issue shouldn’t be used as an excuse to ruin someone else’s life. People who refuses to let Mina see that she is doing something wrong isn’t doing her a favour either. The supporters of Mina was also nasty. Even IF it is true that Jimin bullied Mina, why would you do the same to Jimin? Why would bullying the bully to the point where they develop an eating disorder and depression be the best solution? When Jimin posted a photo looking thin and admitting that she is suffering from an eating disorder people told her to die. Why would you do that? What gave you the right? for people who are saying it's hard to prove bullying infront of police: police will question each one of them individually, police will take statements from staffs and managers, make up artists and people whom they have worked with.police will have access to things in fnc that no one else has. police can also cross check things about jimin's dad funeral etc. mina supporters siding with her over her decision of denying police investigation just tell me they themselves are not confident of her statements and do not want to be proven wrong in the court of law.

By the early days of AOA, they were barely surviving and not even earning as a group but thanks to seolhyun (the girl who's being hated for foolish and shallow reasons) was able to climb up the popularity. They were able to promote much better with gained audience from seolhyun's impact. And Jimin being the leader in that group. Mina with her lacking efforts as she said that she only took 3 vocal lessons and even missing dance practice. I think jimin did treated mina not that great but does that mean bullying? If a person doesn't treat you better than what you want, would you consider it bullying already? I have a friend who I have found out that he kinda hated me. Because of my certain actions. In our circle of friends, sometimes he would say something and act bad about me. But as I realised it was because of the series actions that are not good that I made. But I did not consider it bullying, because every person is different. You cannot just claim anyone who treats you bad a bully. Sometimes the things that we get hated at are the things that we unconsciously do that makes other people hate us.
Agreed. There's actually one time i genuinely asking and confronting the person who keep mocking/'bullying' me for no reasons, but the next days, they couldn't get even mock/'bully' me ( hell, they even told me to kms in a "joking" way but still ) even moreーwhich also the reason why i had s*icidal thoughts until today and afraid of coming out with all of these stories for getting a professional help. What if i'm just playing victim? or i just feel like i'm the only one who is unable to take a "joke" or i should say, i'm being too sensitive? To this day, I don't think Jimin is completely blameless. But since this whole issue started I just had problems with Mina. It's like she went crazy and kept doing things to garner people's sympathy and attention, even at the extent of leaving misunderstandings unsolved just so she could get herself carried away emotionally. It's like she didn't want to make everything better, she wanted everyone to burn down along with her.

Also, takes two to tango so Mina's prior behaviors probably made Jimin disatisfied since it's the leader that bears the brunt of the management's comments and corrections and that's why she can't stop the emotion from her eyes when she looks at her. It reminds me of ryu sera from nine muses who was scolded by staf for not managing a member well who I think didn't dance well or kept being late. Later she was removed from the leader position even when she was still in the group.

So why she would do that before AOA practice for their comeback makes no sense. And she had to know that would pissed anybody off. That's something to do on ur off time. I pitied her but never hated Jimin. I admit I did defend Mina when people tried calling her on in the first few weeks when the “scandal” was still new but I never slandered Jimin in those posts. In the early days of the scandal I saw a post that basically said “No one was wrong and this is just a big misunderstanding. Jimin was just a strict leader/ person and Mina being a sensitive person just over exaggerated everything from her perspective”. I stuck with that conclusion and stayed quiet after I noticed her claims inconsistencies and after she just started slandering everyone who even so slightly disagree with her.

Honestly, the only thing I had a problem with Jimin is her voice. Like, it seemed as if it doesn't really fit her or she was faking it, but then I felt bad because it could actually be her voice or she's being forced to sound that way. However, I never really felt anything negative about Jimin, really. She isn't a favorite member of mine. I actually don't have a favorite in the group, besides their ex-member Choa. But I barely know much about AOA and Jimin, but I have heard about Jimin having a huge fanbase so maybe Mina could've been jealous of that and now that she has done all of this, she's getting all this love and attention, while Jimin is getting bullied by the public. The whole situation is fucked up. I apologize for thinking badly of Jimin and almost believing in the shitty videos and Instagram posts on something that was nothing but full of lies. I feel so bad. My deepest, honest concerns go to Jimin and hopefully she can find some peace and happiness. 🦋💛

I'm really glad that after what happen to some idol, public opinion seem to be more open about mental health issues regarding idol. And law about it also change little bit. So, idol now a day can take rest for their mental health problem. Back then, idol can't even express their sick etc. And that why, a lot of second generation idol get sick till fainted on stage. If Mina refuses to seek proper help and repeats this pattern forever, then they’ll perpetually be on the verge of being labeled as murderers and bystanders for life. The worst part is, what if they do come out and their testimonies overwhelmingly contradict hers? I can’t imagine Mina being able to accept the public changing their opinion of her. I hope that she’ll never resort to pulling her trump card to remain as the victim forever.
this is the main reason other members are not speaking up. mina is unstable and according to her new post she self harms herself ever third day and has attempted suicide by taking pills before. if they speak their truth and knetz somehow question mina over it she won't be able to bear it. she is self pitying herself to the point even if hundreds of fans love her she takes offense over 10 hate comments and starts it all over again. she will never not see herself as a victim or even want to recover from her trauma.

I agree with this comment. It'll gonna be hella huge problem if Mina ever lied about everything, yet, after this case over, and the next thing we knew she's "venting" on her instagram account again because of FNC and AOA 'trauma' she had a hard time doing things even eating like lmao- at this point if her hair got messy it'll be their fault. I just hope that this problem will be solved by both parties soon. But come to think of it, i doubt if AOA could build a stable career again because they already framed as "bystanders" or "bully" and Mina is exposed as a "playing victim". Also, can’t get over the fact that this girl literally blamed being diagnosed with cervical cancer on all the stress she received from Jimin, only for people to inform her that it’s a sexually transmitted disease that you get from engaging in sexual intercourse. Then she goes on saying, “I’m not promiscuous” and again mentions something along the lines of how there’s someone else from AOA that actually enjoys being promiscuous (in a way it appears like she was trying to indirectly imply Jimin is a “h0e”). Maybe she really got bullied or maybe not, but I just dislike her approach of bringing other people down to make herself appear as this completely innocent victim to get sympathy whenever she receives hate and criticism. I felt extremely bad for this girl before. But, at this point, she’s just using petty methods for her own pity party. Plus, girl really needs to get off of social media to refrain from advertising all her highs and lows of her personal life on the internet.
Like seriously, what does Jimin have anything to do with her getting cervical cancer? NOTHING! I get being scarred from being bullied by a certain person, but you can't blame that person for everything bad that happens in your life.
I think mina was jealous that jimin and seolhyun were getting way more attention than her for their talent and charms so she started these rumors to end their careers... I never believed her
Mina purposely did things to annoy Jimin and AOA. It is Jimin's job as leader to make sure each of the members are practicing enough. And Mina has shown to be irresponsible during her job multiple times. If I was the leader, I would've been pissed off too. Not to mention her making up rumors to destroy Jimin's reputation and career. How did people not listen to the truth despite the many pieces of evidence?
I keep telling people as a leader it was her job to make sure the group was doing why they had to do. Every mistake mina would have been her responsibility to deal with.That's kpop groups always talk abt how they love their leaders because they know they have it hard
