Mr. Beast payed a group of Minecraft modders $50,000 to make him a huge mod @Doctor4t was the main coder in here and with the help of all the members, they decided to make the mod that now we know as The first city. unfortunatlly the mod never made it to Mr. Beast's video. But why?

⭐ My suggestions for the mod (maybe someone noticed)
1- The lore is weak: lore of each game plays a big role in making that game/mod fun or simply boring. And the only lore that we know about the first day is the one I said in the intro. so I think its essential to edit the maps a bit and put hints of the lore inside of them, we also need to know where and why each creature of the mod exists
2- The mod is so limited: Minecraft is a sandbox game, and the reason that its so fun after all these years is that. But the mod limits your gameplay. While you can beat Minecraft in many creative ways, you can only beat this mod the way the coders intended. I recommend removing the limitation as much as possible. that way everyone can beat it their own way
3- The ending is not good: when you finally beat this mod, the only thing you get is a white screen and then… nothing. There is not an actual ending. You just get teleported to credits room. That is something that can be easily fixed
⚠️ Btw I made a mistake while making the video. Mr. Beast never said the mod isnt fun

As one of the devs of the mod, I just want to say that you seem to have completely misunderstood the point of this mod. First, as another commented mentioned, the statement that Mr. Beast "said that the mod won't fit their video and the gameplay isn't that fun" is entirely false. This was never said at any point. The issue with the video were the lower budget mods, which just weren't good enough to make a full video. He basically ended up with only our mod being fun and good for a video. Secondly, this mod isn't meant to be added to a modpack or anything. It was designed for a Mr. Beast video. A one-time playthrough with a cool fight and ending. It's not meant to have crazy extra lore, replayability, or freedom of approach. It's meant to follow a path as the players go through a video. The guardrails are entirely intentional. The public release was just a little extra for users to be able to check it out themselves if they want. The goal was not to be the "next Aether." If the goals had been a "popular" mod, then sure your points are entirely valid. But that's not what this project was. It was for a video and it did that job amazingly, both on Nolan's channel and doctor4t's channel. We never expected to get more than *maybe* a couple hundred downloads on the public release. The public release was not the point and we basically just did that out of the goodness of our hearts, since we know that people like to try cool things out when they see them in a video.

Hi. Yeah that was definitly my mistake. Now that I think about it more, I can see that youre completely right. I actually mentioned some of my mistakes in the description. But I might mske an update video so I can explain everything in it. Anyways. Thank you for saying your oppinion and sorry if the video had so many mistakes

That wasnt even what mrbeast didnt say that it wasnt fun, what he said was the problem was that the other mods were bad and he couldnt make a full video.

@@red-Fody yeah, Nolan's channel recycled this idea like months after the MrBeast vid was scrapped, which is prob why theres a lot less content in that style of video

@@red-Fody One of the devs of the project, yes, OreoOrSmthn is correct. There was no issues with our project whatsoever. The issue was that the other low cost projects just ended up being not worth a video.

The mod was made only for that MrBeast video so being extremelly extend was not the idea must probably be a 20 minutes gameplay and later nothing so seeing in that point the mod can do that. I see what you say but i wanted to say my opinion

the mod was only really for Mr. Beast to play it once for his video and not for public entertainment which is why the mod gets boring after the first few times you see or play it.
